This beautiful BJ-40 was imported from Costa Rica and has a clear Texas title, BJ-40's from Canada are almost always rust buckets, and Australian and Japanese versions are right hand drive and much less desirable, Cruisers from the mountain areas of Costa Rica are the prize ones because they are away from the salt air of the ocean and less likely to be rusty, production of the 40 series Land Cruisers stopped in the US in 1983, small quantities of the 40 Series were sold in other parts of the world but production was very limited, this is a 1984 BJ40 and considered the Holy Grail of Land Cruisers, this one has had Heat and AC added to it so you would havde the ultimate collector BJ40 Diesel that is both usable and collectable, it is a frame up restoration, and has the very hard to find ambulance doors, it is sitting on a "like" new set of BF Goodrich tires, it cranks and runs fine, i bought it from a man here in my area that just had to many toys around, he hardly ever drove it, but it has been garaged here in the south when he wasnt driving it, i only found one other like this one in this same year on Ebay and they were asking $75,000 for it, and i didnt look anywhere as clean and nice as this one, so i think this one is a bargain, and keep in mind i dont charge anything extra, no doc fee's, nothing!Please feel free to give me a call to further discuss your interest in this 1984 Toyota BJ Land Cruiser Diesel!
