The car has been restored to new, within the last couple of years (the paint is base, clear) over $12K in paint alone and is in excellent condition and looks smooth flat and wet. Not even a stone chip! (I did Not build this car). I have added the hockey stripes in vinyl and can easily be removed. This is one car that has truly been restored and took me a long time to find, but at this time I must reluctantly sell! Losing storage!! All new chrome bumpers, door handles, mirror. The sound of this (stroker) small Block is very impressive and driving the car is a pure pleasure. Throttle response and acceleration is incredible. Steering and handling are excellent. 1966 Mustang 2+2 Fastback with GT options. 289 V-8, 4 speed top loader manual transmission. Manual steering, manual front disk brakes. The odometer reads 36,190 miles, actual mileage is unknown. Restoration completed 5 years ago. Painted in the original Red, the body and paint is in excellent shape. There are a few small nicks but nothing major. Car was originally delivered to a dealer in California where is spent a good part of its life. In 1979, the previous owner, bought this car from her sister as her first vehicle at 16 years old and brought it to Michigan. She owned it for the last 34 years until I purchased the car from her last year. The front license plate on the car is still the original California black plate. Red interior, new carpet, new pony seat covers, new door skins and hardware, new reproduction factory floor mats, new headliner, and original factory Rally Pak (tach works but the clock does not). Folding rear seat and hazard light switch in glove box. All gauges and switches work as they should. The interior is in excellent shape. This car has all the GT options, GT gas cap, and dual exhaust through the rear valance, GT fog lamps, front disk brakes and heavy duty suspension.
