Up for sale is this very good 2007 Mustang V6 Convertible. It has a service history from about the beginning of last year (when I finally started logging services), everything works, it has the bigger GT500 wheels and almost brand new tires, vinyl roof was just steam cleaned, interior was shampooed and exterior just cleaned and waxed. It also has new carpets. Detailed description: Mechanically: This car is in very good mechanical shape, in no small part due to the fact that I am a bit paranoid with car maintenance. Many parts on the car are brand new, either because I substituted them before they had a chance to fail or because they were supposed to go due to scheduled maintenance. The only two parts which ever broke are the thermostat housing (replaced last week actually) and the alternator (which was replaced under warranty in 2010). In the interest of full disclosure, there's only one thing wrong: The TPMS sensor flashes for about 5 seconds when you start the car. This is due to two of the sensors not working on the wheels. I would have substituted them, but I did not for a simple reason: I had just replaced the tires and replacing the TPMS means removing the tires again. Since the flashing doesn't bother me at all (and I actually think the TPMS is one of the most useless features of this car), I just thought I'd replace it when I replace the tires. The car has never let me down (even when the thermostat housing cracked) and I believe it will serve the new owner very well. Here are the list of parts which were substituted by brand new and when they were replaced. It also lists whether or not I have the old one, because sometimes I keep the old ones for spares. These spares will go to the new owner if he/she so desires. Serpentine belt (100,700mi)Thermostat Housing (100,700mi)Thermostat (100,700mi)Coolant Flush (100,700mi)Fuel Pump (100,575mi) [Spare Available]Transmission Fluid Flush (99,769mi)Transmission Fluid Filter (99,769mi)Sway bar links and bushings (99,230mi)Windshield Wipers (98,134mi)Fuel Injectors (97,108mi) [Spare available]Inner and outer tie rods (97,021mi)Engine Oil and Filter (Royal Purple Full Synthetic) (96,865mi)Upstream O2 Sensors (95,032mi)Wiper blades (Rain-X) (91,850mi)K&N Air Filter (90,950mi)GT500 Wheels and Tires (89,560mi)K&N Washable Cabin Air Filter (89,000mi)Fuel Filter (86,500mi)Spark Plugs (86,500mi)Spark Wires (86,500mi) Spark Coils (86,500mi) As you can see, all major services were done, including a transmission fluid flush. I use Motorcraft for the most part, with a few deviations (such as oil). For the most part you'll only need to change oil. I also regularly clean the throttle body, MAF sensor and air filter. Interior: The interior was recently cleaned: Plastic parts were cleaned and protected using Aerospace 303 and the seats and carpet were steam cleaned and shampooed. The seats have the wear and tear you can expect for a car of that age. Carpets are brand new, and were purchased about a week ago. Exterior: Car was just washed and waxed. There are all the nicks and dents you'd expect from a car that age, especially if you consider that this car is my daily driver. The vinyl roof was just steam cleaned and looks good. Upgrades/Modifications: There are very little modifications to this car, and they're all pretty much immediately reversible: It has the GT500 wheels with sticky tires, LED taillights, a Viper alarm and remote start system (the 5901 two-way one) and an aftermarket headlight. Mind you, I have the originals of all of those, so if the new owner wishes, I can revert them all back to original (otherwise they will go with the car as spares). One small note: The fog lights are aftermarket, and are not wired yet What goes with the car/Additionals: Two original keys with the original remote keyfobOne two-way LCD Viper 5901 remote start fobOne one-way Viper remote start fob (as a spare)Two original headlightsTwo original taillightsOne used fuel pumpSix used injectorsFour additional wheels and tires with snow tiresA paint pen color matched to the car to take care of any nicks and minor scratches If the new owner does not want any of these (or wants the ones on the car substituted for the originals), we may talk about some price reduction.
