Feel free to ask ANY question and I will do my best to answer quickly. No SUV or MiniVan offers more flexibility or cargo space. Want to bring home that loveseat? Just fold all of the seats (second row AND third row into the floor--nothing to remove and it can be done in seconds.) Given how cold it is in much of the country right now, think about starting the van from inside the house. Think about heated seats, heated steering wheel and mirrors. Think about side doors and the rear hatch that are ready to open for you a click of a button. Think about automatic climate controls for three different zones (Driver, Passenger and rear passengers.) You are looking at a 2015 Town & Country that is extra clean and low millage. It is loaded way past the normal touring level with the remote start feature, the Garmin Navigation System (GPS), the heated front seats/steering wheel/mirrors, Remote Proximity Keyless Entry & Keyless Enter-N-Go which are super cool and the CORA Tire Press Monitoring Sensor. On top of that you get the normal addons like the back-up camera, Touchscreen radio with hard drive and SirusXM, Dual Screen DVD system, etc. This is priced well below similar vans have sold for in the past so make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples as this van was over $40,000 new (which was only two years ago). While I have sold on eBay for 17 years now, I don't normally sell vehicles but due to certain unforeseen circumstances, I find myself selling this van that I recently purchased. This 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan is nearly new but was involved in a shallow, fresh water flood in December of 2015. It was purchased by a car dealer in KY and they removed the carpet and replaced it with brand new Chrysler carpet and tuned it up, replacing all the fluids. After that was done they drove it over 10,000 miles without any problems. I found it and was blown away with how nice it was and quickly purchased it. I later ran into issues with the title after the dealer finally delivered both the van and the title after 3 months! I then loved the van so much that I pursued every avenue I could find to be able to register it in Virginia and keep it, sadly without luck. The issue is that the insurance company issued the wrong "status" to South Carolina's DMV after the flooding. That company, USAA, reported that the van was "junk" to only be sold for parts. USAA reported it as Salvage Non-Rebuildable instead of the more common Salvage/Non-Removable. Everyone I have talked with understands that this van is fine but because the insurance company won't spend a second to switch the status, I can not register it in my State (Virginia). After three months, the dealer I purchased the van from finally provided a KY "Salvage/Water Damaged" title that would normally be fine in Virginia but because of the past "Non-Rebuildable" status, Virginia refuses to even inspect the van. (While I can understand that this is typically done to protect buyers, it seems very wrong to not allow me to have the van inspected to prove it was a mistake in status.) What I do know is that, according to those in the industry that specialize in such matters, there are about 35 states in the US that have no problem with the past status as long as the van has the current Salvage title. I know it would fine registering it in KY, but the van can NOT be registered in SC & Virginia. Outside of those three states, I highly suggest you reach out to your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to see what your state says. If you find out a yes or no, please message me so I can add that to the listing to save others time. Since I have purchased the van I have cleaned it, repaired very minor things, tested it and longed to be able to use it. Because of how little I paid, my goal is to sell it here honestly to give someone else a chance to love it while getting a deal and for me, recovering some of my expenses involved in this whole process. Because I can not register it in Virginia, I am transferring the ownership via a bill of sale with the existing Salvage/Water Damaged KY title. The cost of the van is what I paid for it plus my "fees". No there aren't any hidden fees or charges like most dealers charge (dealer, paperwork, etc)--the buy-it-now price is all you will have to pay plus transport costs from whomever you select to transport it. (Of course it is driveable but without tags/registration, it isn't street legal until you register it.) Because of this, it needs a standard oil change (I am not handy enough to do this at home), some air in the tires and that is about it. (There are no warnings/lights on except the reminders for an oil change and low tire pressure.) It comes with a clear title, meaning there are no loans against this van. The only defects I know of are some minor scratches on the right front of the bumper and a tiny dent on the left side wheel well. Other than that, there are extremely minor things that every car used this little will have. I have not found anything broken/non-working on the inside--even with all the bells and whistles. As of right now, it needs a tiny plastic cover that I will do my best to find (on the floor in between the second row seats) and it needs the passenger side front headrest "reset". It is supposed to just pop back into place but given my handy level, I can't seem to make it stay. It is one of those things that someone will no doubt make look crazy easy but seems to keep me baffled. Everything else is amazing. The reason I fell in love with this particular van was the cleanness/condition it was in and the extent of the features. While it has extensive standard features (The Town & Country base model is basically the highest end Dodge Caravan plus a few features) the following are the optional features/options it has over the standard set. On top of that you get the normal addons like the back-up camera, Touchscreen radio with hard drive and SirusXM, rear screen dvd display, etc. This particular van also has a aftermarket UHAUL brand towing hitch installed with a power connector for lights. Other van options (aka why I purchased a flooded van): One of the frustrating things for me when I was researching purchasing a loaded Caravan/Town & Country was that without a "defect", they are just too pricey. So on eBay your normally see three types of affordable options--previously flooded, previously damaged/accident and previous rental vans. For me wanting something that will last long term, previous accident damage was too scary and too likely to have issues down the line so I ruled them out. Previous rental/fleet vans are abused by drivers who don't own them so they don't care about them, by people who can damage engine components by not being familiar with the vehicle and they are more likely to be white (not my favorite color) and have limited options. By that they will never have Navigation/GPS built in because they would rather "rent" one to you, they also won't have higher end features like heated seats, Keyless Enter-N-Go or remote start. The bonus is that some past rentals come with short warranties but they exclude a lot and normally only cover the vehicle when it is young and not likely to have major issues. So that left me mostly looking at past flooded vehicles. Be aware that not all of these are the same. There are some flooded vehicles that look, smell and function as if nothing ever happened (like this one) and many others that do not. For example, our replacement for this van (which is not as nice and is costing me over $17,000) was lightly fresh water flooded but did not sit in water long. I drove to that dealership expecting to purchase a different van only to flip the second row seat up and see a lot of rust. Vehicles that sit in water are likely to have rust on lower parts. That will greatly reduce their lifespan and can also signal other potential issues. (Just a tip for you from my experience.) If I could register this van in Virginia I would gladly pay $18,000 for it based on the condition of it compared to others I have researched and the feature set. Perhaps that sounds like a line but it is true. Someone is going to get a deal here and be very happy (and sidestep a lot of normal car buying hassles.) If you click to purchase this you will need to pay a $500 nonrefundable fee to hold the van for 72 hours and end the listing. Then within that 72 hours you will need to wire the rest to my bank account or deliver the cash in person. If you run into a honest snag, we can adjust that a bit but with a transaction this big, I can not accept a check, money order, Paypal (for the full amount) or anything else fishy. ;) Be aware that some lenders will not make loans on Salvage vehicles so make sure you have financing/cash lined up and available. Insurance isn't normally an issue on such vehicles and this one was already insured (by me) with State Farm at the same normal rates. PLEASE feel free to ask any question you might have. If you want a better photo of something, I can certainly do that as well. I did my best but it is not the season to take really great photos outside. If you fall in love with this van like I did, reach out to your DMV to see if you can register it. Feel free to provide the VIN (2C4RC1BG3FR534963) to them as well. My guess is that this is going to sell quickly at this price with these features so do not wait expecting it to be available. I have priced it below similar flooded vans with these features/options/millage to make room for the new van coming in this week since we also still have our older/current van! Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1941 CHRYSLER "Town & Country" Barrel Back Wood Station Wagon Wonderfully Preserved 1941 Chrysler "Barrel Back" / CCCA Full Classic Having handled, owned and traded an untold numbers of high end CCCA Classics over the years it becomes difficult to really be impressed, but this car literally takes my breath away. This is a 66,000 mile, wonderfully preserved and never restored example of without a doubt the "wooden car" era's most extravagant model. The "Town and Country Barrel Back", is a sensation where ever she goes. Rumored to have belonged to the Rockefeller family, it befits the name. It does still wear its 1951 Vermont inspection sticker. Later in life (around 1970), the car became the property of the Gould family (Massachusetts) who created an automobile museum in Meredith, New Hampshire and later moved their car museum efforts to Route 1 in Wells, Maine. This car was their flagship exhibit, from its first day through its closing in recent years. Even the original leather is still beautiful. The wood is extremely handsome. The chrome has a mellow patina but presents itself very well. This is the rare nine passenger version. The dash plastic is exceptional. This automobile drives superbly, having recently benefited from a major service by a top restoration shop. The car has very adequate power and has proven to be both reliable and extremely well mannered on the road. Being a 1941 vintage, this is something that can be safely driven at night as sealed beam headlights were standard equipment. This would be a perfect candidate for use at a retreat or for summer lake or mountain house. Is is easy to operate and it would be a huge hit for taking your guests to and from the local airport, around town, or maybe just out to dinner. This "barrel back woody" is the essence of understated elegance! Presently, the car is museum stored in Lynchburg, Virginia. If not sold, in a couple of weeks, I do plan on bringing her to my central New Hampshire home to enjoy for the summer and fall. This is a diamond in the grand scheme of collector automobiles.It is also a full CCCA (Classic Car Club of America) Classic. They rarely trade.
