This very nice 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser has no body rust or collision damage. It has the 2.4L non-turbo engine and automatic transmission. Miles are around 138,000 but it is still being driven regularly. Very good mechanical condition, runs and drives well. Regular oil changes and maintenance including newer brakes (including rotors and rear drums), newer Uniroyal tires, alternator, and camshaft sensor. Brand new windshield wipers. No leaks or drips. No check engine light or other warning lights except for the airbag light which has been on as long as we have owned it. Body has only some minor dings and scrapes that you would expect for the year and miles. The front bumper cover is cracked at the very bottom but it doesn't hurt anything. Nice clean interior. There is a small burn on the passenger's seat but I have a complete matching seat to replace it, I just never got around to changing it. All of the lights, windows, radio, wipers, heater, etc work fine. The air conditioner stopped blowing cold air a couple of years ago. Just a very nice, newer style PT Cruiser in a great color. If you're in the market for one of these cars (and why not, they're great) this is one to seriously consider. It would be a great second car or one to take you to college in style. We are only selling it because where we live 4WD is a necessity, so it has been replaced with a 4WD Ford Escape. With winter right around the corner we'd like to get this out of the driveway, that's why it's priced to sell! Up for sale is a 2009 PT Cruiser that is in excellent shape (like new), inside and out. There are absolutely no problems with this car. I recently acquired it from my grandparents, who bought it new back in 2009. They used it as a grocery-getter over the past five years, and were extremely gentle to it. It was taken to Byers auto for routine maintenance servicing within the warranty period (up to 25k miles). It's decently quick and definitely holds its own in traffic. AC Blows cold and heat blows hot. Does not have factory cruise control (none of the 2009s did). I am selling it simply because I do not have a use for it and don't have the space to keep it around. Tires have good tread on them and the oil is good for another 1500 miles. I still have all the original factory manuals and both keys with the built-in remotes. This is the base model, but it comes with all the major modern conveniences. It is not equipped with heated seats, a sunroof, or cruise control (as mentioned above), but does have, power windows, air conditioning, and a trip computer with average MPG calculation.
