Up For Sale is one 1987 Chrysler 5th Avenue with only 59,200 Original miles. This is a clean original unmolested original car. This car just came out of an estate. The car has been in storage for a few years. This car has not been detailed. It was only washed and vacuumed to remove the dust. This is a very solid original car that has a very nice straight rust free solid body. Nice Vinyl top. Very clean interior with good leather and excellent plush velour carpets. Working Air conditioning. The paint is very good except for the rear trunk which has some clear coat burn which is common to Chrysler products from these years. Recent work includes new gas tank, new fuel pump, brand new tires, new battery. This car is very solid but still needs a few things to make it perfect. I have driven the car about 100 miles (including a 50 mile road trip)The car drives great and I would drive the car anywhere without hesitation, but honestly it really needs either a carburetor rebuild or replacement. The car idles fine, but the accelerator pump in the carburetor does not work to its fullest. When you get on it to go, it has some hesitation. If you feather it, it is fine. The car did sit a few years, so the old gas probably caused this issue. (Honestly a Eldebrock Aftermarket Carb is the best solution for only $300-400 for trouble driving). Also the fuel gauge is not working properly. We had a new fuel tank installed, so not sure if the sending unit is the issue. You are probably a Chrysler nut if you are looking, so you should know of most issues with these cars. The windshield wiper arm grommets need replacement( they all break), and is approx a $10 fix in the Help section at auto parts store. And a couple of power window motors need a rebuild kit ( They work, but are slow). I have tried to best describe any issues with the car. Seriously, it is a lot more car, than you are paying for. What you are getting is a very solid older American ride with Big Looks, that needs just a little TLC to make it right, for a very reasonable price of only $1,850 Cash! I am not looking for offers, the price is very reasonable and is less than what you would pay for some basic beater transportation car. Seriously! A lot of car for so little money!
