Long story short I came to a stop light and when the light turned green, truck didn't move. Gear selector on the column moves everything from one gear to another as it should (PRND321) so it's not as simple as a linkage problem outside of the transmission. No fluids are leaking out, but the truck can be rolled around with it in Park(P). Truck engine ran fine with no leaks and plenty of power. Selling because it's not worth it to us to put more money in it. From what I have seen rebuild kits are $400-$600 and rebuilt transmission is anywhere from $900-$1500 shipped. I'm sure a used working transmission can be sourced from a junkyard like Auto Parts City, ABC Auto Parts, Victory, etc. for less, but I haven't looked into it.No you can't work on it in the driveway and try to get it working. MUST BE TOWEDTrade/trade + cash for toolboxes or motorcycles, LED TVs. I can donate the vehicle for an additional tax write off or pull the engine, take the electronics, and scrap the rest and be in a similar position.
