I have for sale a 1967 Chevy Suburban 4x4 1/2 ton. It has the original numbers matching 292 straight six engine. Runs fantastic and doesn't seem to leak any oil. The carb is a little crusty and could use a rebuild. This suburban features the original 4 speed manual trans and has original transfer case. The 4 wheel drive works, all driveshafts are in place, original front and rear diffs also. No power steering and no power brakes, drums all the way around just like GM built them. It will sit In the backyard for months and with the pull of the choke it always fires off in seconds. Everything seems to be original other than the front seat was reupholstered once in a grey cloth. The headliner is missing but some of the hardware appears to be in place yet. The heater, defrost, speedometer, fuel gauge, amps, water temp, oil pressure gauges all work, turn signals, brake lights, marker lights, high beams, low beams all work great! There is an aftermarket knob radio that's hooked to the original dash speaker that works decent. The radio hole is uncut. The original steering wheel is very decent and very usable and restorable. The center cap is in place. All windows roll up and down and doors all open and close and lock as they should. The floors have minimal rust where you swing your feet in. It's not very bad at all. Behind and in front of the rear wheels needs rust repair. Both passenger side doors are rust free but have dents. The front is fixable but the rear would need skinned. The drivers side door is very nice, rust free and has a few mirror holes is all. Rear tailgate is pretty ruff, the hatch is nice and has all hardware in place. Fenders are pretty good with no visible rust,, hood is ok for a driver. The grille and front sheetmetal is all there and pretty darn clean. The rocker panels on passenger side are shot as well, they have too much rust in them and need replaced. The roof is almost immaculate, the original roof rack is in place and clean. Tires are shot, exhaust is shot. With those replaced and the carb rebuilt, this suburban could be driven daily with no problem. I bought this truck from a guy who had it since 1972. I have and have had lots of these 1967-1972 trucks, blazers and Suburbans. This is a very very rare one. From what I've found from numerous sources, GM only made 166 half ton 4x4 Suburbans in 1967. And only 120 three quarter tons. They made lots more 2 wheel drives. This old truck has a ton of character and is worth way more in parts then what I'm asking but I just don't have the heart to part it out. I would love to see someone restore this thing or even just fix it up and drive it as you go. I guarantee there's not a vehicle with more character on your street!! Any questions feel free to ask or if you want more pictures that's no problem at all. I buy and sell lots of vehicles and have most of them shipped. I'm happy to assist getting this on a shipping truck for you. Buyer is responsible for setting up shipping and all fees. Thanks
