2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 4x4 CALIFORNIA CAR! I got this from my brother-in-law October 2015 in the bay area of California. We drove it cross country to Virginia, and then down to Texas and back plus used it as a daily driver until two months ago when the rear axle started to make a weird noise. Then I parked it. It runs and drives well BUT it has a noise in rear axle. The local repair shop diagnosed it at the Pinion Bearing. They recommended replacing the entire rear axle assembly with a used one. Needs a VA state inspection (ran out in November 2016) AND work on rear axle or swap it for another. Deep Green paint with Leather interior. Engine & Transmission & Brakes are smooth without issue. New Parts last October: Spark plugs. (iridium) Serpentine belt Wire set Interstate battery I have the original window sticker from the dealer. 3:73 rear end with posi-track •Fresh oil change (Mobil 1full synthetic & K&N oil filter) • Cold A/C & Hot heat. •No rattlling or sqeaks. •BFG tires with good tread left •4wd system works great! •One key fob included & two keys. •Third row seat is included. •No leaks, oil or coolant since I've owned it. •Headliner is good. The Bad: •REAREND is making weird noise. ($600 for used rear axle with 106,000 miles for sale locally) •ABS/TRACS light on. (sometimes goes off) •Rear struts on tailgate are weak in cold weather. •Paint on hood and roof has clear coat pealing badly. •Dent in rear drivers side quarter panel, down low. •Leather shows signs of wear and rear passenger seat has a large tear in it. •Some carpet stains.
