Up for sale is my 2003 Chevrolet 3500HD Duramax Allison Crew Cab Dually. It has the LB7 engine which gets good gas mileage and has less emissions/electronics when compared to the newer ones. Between daily driving and highway I was averaging 19 MPG This truck has never had a tuner or performance computers. It is bone stock except for the exhaust. It is a crew Cab Dually with 4WD. It has every option, leather, power locks, mirrors, seats, and monitors in the headrests for rear passengers. Injectors were done at 128,000 miles. At 155,000 it went in for a big refresh.Engine and Transmission oils and filterCat fuel filter conversion and new Fuel Filter Installation of Airdog fuel filtration system and in line pumpA/C rechargeRadiator flush and new antifreezeNew mishmoto lower temp thermostat.Took valve covers off to check clearance on valve lifters everything in specNew tie rods, ball joints, and stabilizer barsNew brake pads and rotorsNew Hydroboost New Carrier BearingNew MBRP 4” exhaustNew Electric Trailer Break Controller - it never had one on it before. I had the truck repainted. There was no rust at all, it had the typical GM faded hood and doors. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and had everything repaired or upgraded on anything I could find wrong with it. It drives great and is very powerful. The interior is the best GM had to offer. The stereo is great, the cruise control works and all of the steering wheel buttons function. If you try to build the same truck today at Chevy, it’s a $60,000 truck. The interior could use a cleaning. There is a small leak from the valve cover – it only started after we pulled them off to check the valve lash – If I find the time I’ll torque them down again. I bought it to tow my skidsteer with not realizing how much truck I was getting with a Dually. I toyed with converting it to a SRW but decided to sell it instead. It is total overkill for my use. I bought it, did all of this work then took it on a 1500 mile road trip to Ohio and back.. Then parked it and bought a smaller truck.
