This 1987 Chevrolet Silverado is in awesome condition (see condition description for the only items that are not perfect on it) and runs and drives great. I purchased this truck in 2004 and had it restored in 2006.The restoration included the following:Replace all exterior trim and bumpers with GM newRepaint Exterior and bed-kept factory gray colorReplace grill and grill trim with GM newReplace air dam on front bumper with GM newReplace side mirrors and door handles with GM newPressure washed undersideRecoat wheel wellsReplace dashReplace instrument cluster bezelInstall rubber bed matInstalled remote start-not hooked up today but still in truck-have remoteReplaced windshieldReplaced under hood insulationReplaced side marker lightsReplaced wheel well trim Replaced all window seals and rubbersReplaced interior door trim behind pull handlesReplaced window crank knobs Some of this did not need replaced as it just had normal wear however I wanted this truck to be AWESOME yet FACTORY! Restoration work was done by local body shop that put many months of work into this truck. They were very thorough. Since 2006 I have only put 30,000 miles on it and have kept it off dirt roads to keep underside clean. I try to keep it in a garage or a car cover on it when I am not driving it. The motor was gone thru by local repair shop before I bought. I have paperwork where tranny was rebuilt in 2004 and Vbelts, compressor and ball joints were replaced. I kept this truck serviced with synthetic oil and any time something went wrong I had it fixed right away. I kept most paperwork from all major work done and restoration job. Owners manual is in glove box! I purchased this truck from California and it has been in Georgia ever since. The pictures of the bed show the wear the rubber mat made and the few scratches made when I used it to take out the trash periodically. Never hauled anything in it that would damage bed and tried not to scratch paint.
