We are the original owners; we bought this truck in September 2008. We have all maintenance records, although it's only needed oil changes and tires, since the truck has less than 50,000 miles on it. (We also have the original window sticker: $33,655.) We have the (free and clear) California DMV title PLUS a spotless CarFAX report. This is the Silverado 1500 4WD Extended Cab LT1 model with the 5.3L (307c.i.) engine and 4.10 rear differential ratio (for towing). This is the mid-level model with cloth seats and carpeted flooring with just about every other option that was available at the time; see the pictures of the sticker for details.Overall it is in FAIR to GOOD condition: scratches, scuffs, dings and smudges on the exterior. It is a truck, after all, and we've used it for hauling and towing. The interior is a better with only a few minor smudges. The worst feature is that there are some ugly chipping/fading spots in the paint on the hood and cab roof. I have included an up-close picture of the bad spots on the hood and roof. We can live with these ugly little spots in dry California, but we do have an estimate to get these spots repaired to factory-original condition: $1,202. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition with no tears, cracks or stains. Mechanically, the truck is EXCELLENT. Everything works, and we have all the service records. And, of course, you are welcome to take the truck to any local mechanic for inspection. Tires have less than about 20,000 miles on them. These are top-of-the-line Les Schwab tires with at least a 50,000 mile warranty. And, of course, I have all the records and receipts for these. In January of 2013, I backed into a pole (in a parking lot) and damaged the rear bumper. I was pretty disappointed that the factory bumper couldn't take a 2-3mph impact, so at that time I decided to upgrade to a "real" bumper. I replaced the damaged bumper with an Iron Bull ($1,553) heavy-duty, solid steel version. It looks cool, and it is SOLID; you won't have to worry about a parking lot bump ever again! Here are the "book values" for the truck:NADA CLEAN RETAIL Value: $23,275Kelly Blue Book Private Party, GOOD: $20,448Kelly Blue Book Private Party, FAIR: $19,635We're figuring that the bad paint spots on the hood and roof are about a $1,200 deduction, but the huge bumper upgrade ($1,600) plus the Yakima rack ($300) plus the fact that we are the original owners with 100% of the sale and service documents offsets the paint repair cost. All things considered, we'd say that the truck is probably between FAIR and GOOD, but we're setting the price at the Kelly Blue Book Private Party FAIR value. Seems reasonable to us, but we're open to offers. I prefer that you simply pick up the truck in Chico, California (95926), but I will deliver it to you in Northern California, Northern Nevada or Southern Oregon for $1.00/mile--prepaid. Questions?
