Selling my faithful '89 Chevy S10 Tahoe. It's been a good truck, but it's time I got a larger vehicle. Here are the details--Long bed (rare for some reason? Much less common than a short bed S10)-2WD-4.3 V6-700r4 Auto trans-3.08 10-bolt rear-Factory A/C Converted to R134-Tahoe Package: Deluxe interior (for 1989), heavy duty front and rear springs, sliding glass rear window, upgraded sound insulation-RARE factory tow hitch, powder coated in 2011-Extang Tonneau cover, very good shape.It has 81,000 miles on it...I'm responsible for about 12000 of those miles, as it has been my daily driver since July 2012. Here's what I've done since I owned it:-New front tires: Courser Master Craft AS2-New rear tires: General Grabber AT2-New front brake pads-New heater core-New radiator-New head and intake gaskets-Heads machined down .001" at the time of gasket replacement-New TPS, IAC, Rebuilt throttle bodyThis thing runs like an absolute top! Like I said, I drive it absolutely every day, sometimes up to 4 hours trips at a time. Last fill up got me 16.1 mpg, which I'm pretty happy with. I always warm it up for 10 minutes when it's below 40 in the morning, to get all the fluids flowing and everything working. The heater blows hotttttt, and the A/C is colddddddd. The seat is quite comfortable, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country. The rear tires are aggressive enough to handle snow quite well, but quiet and comfortable too. And, to top it all off, the interior is immaculate! The dash is perfect, gauges all work, and the radio does its thing. If you ask nice, I'll throw in a cassette for the true '80s driving experience! The body is in excellent shape. There are a few nicks and chips from driving down my gravel driveway (mostly the tailgate), but the bed is perfect, and there is no rust anywhere.So, that's that...I'm asking $5300 for the S10, but am very open to offers.

1984 s10 2wd needs finished light body work and painted I already coated the under side with POR15, Needs a few small items like hold downs for battery box lid, finish body work (small dents) and paint front end alignment right rear tire is out of balance. Motor starts good and runs good. I have put over 6,000 miles on it (only drive it on nice days). The motor is a 1982 6.2 diesel with 96 6.5 turbo diesel heads new injectors rebuilt injector pump new timing chain and gears all new gaskets it does have some blow by like most. Rebuilt 700r4 trans by Gear Masters of Kankakee The rear end is out of a 99 s10 with a 4.11 gear. Front brakes are from a 2000 four door blazer dual piston calipers, sway bar also. Fast fuel pump dual fuel filters oil cooler with fan. Turbo is a H1C from a 94 Dodge diesel rebuilt with a 44mm waste gate max boost 8 psi. Fabtech 3" lifted coil springs 2" body lift. The interior is in nice shape the body only had surface rust around the fenders that was sand blasted and coated with POR15 and primed (that's why the black is around the fenders and some other spots) Speedo shows 70576 miles on it. I have over $5000 in this. I am no good at body work and I need the space in the garage. You are welcome to come by and look at it before you buy. $3500.00 O.B.O. Sold as is.

I will be taking a road trip from Houston to Delaware OH and back sometime in the first week of april to pick up a truck that i bought. If anybody along the way is interested in the S10 i am willing to put the truck on a trailer or tow dolly and bring it with me to help with delivery. This is a great truck that has had alot of work done and has alot of good upgrades and would make a very solid daily driver once the engine is fixed. This is a current list of what all has been done to the truck, and what needs to be done. This is a good S10 truck. Regular Cab Short Bed, its straight and rust free, originally sold in central Texas when new. 4.3 V6 TBI 4L60E Automatic transmission. I've owned the truck for a few years and up until recently it has been a very reliable truck that I was driving almost daily. The Good: New Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump and Sending Unit. Filter replaced as well. New Engine and transmission Mounts. New Radiator, Water Pump, upper/Lower hoses, thermostat, tstat housing, heater core, heater hoses. Engine has new Brass Freeze Plugs Full Tune Up, distributor cap and rotor, plug wires and plugs. Rebuilt TBI Unit with new gaskets and FPR. all 4 shocks are new. Has a Kenwood CD Stereo and all speakers are kenwood in stock locations. Black Leather Bucket seats from a Blazer. Grant aftermarket steering wheel. Sliding rear window. Tires are about 60% on stock 14" wheels. Transmission has a mild shift kit installed and has fresh fluid and filter. New High Flow Catalytic Converter. New O2 Sensor New Donut Gaskets on the manifolds. Brand New Dynomax Ultra Flo 3" in/out Stainless Muffler and Flowmaster 3" mandrel tailpipe, aluminized and exits in stock location. Battery is less than a year old. 01 Blazer front disk brake upgrade rear axle from 01 Blazer with 3.42 and disk brakes, 7.625 3.42 open diff Brand New front and rear brake hoses ZQ8 Steering Box Brand New MOOG Idler Arm ZQ8/Blazer 33mm front sway bar ZQ8 factory front coil springs. 1.5" drop ZQ8 factory rear leaf springs. 1.5" drop The Bad: Engine spun a rod bearing. Had Excellent oil Pressure just sounded like a diesel. Drivers side window regulator roller is broke so the window doesn't stay on it. The Paint is pretty rough but still shiny in some spots. Drivers side door hinges are pretty worn, as is typical for these trucks. Black fender flares pictured are no longer on the truck. The body is very clean and straight, rust free. Only damage is to the drivers side fender on the front corner and the front bumper is alittle tweaked, plastic trim on rear bumper is in bad shape. There is a dent in the top/center of the tailgate. Clean clear Texas title in hand. Like i said, this would be a great truck, and if i didn't have 2 other S10's and a Sonoma GT id be keeping it and making it my DD, but just dont have room for them all. Also, wanted to add that i have a good used shortblock from an 01 Blazer that has ~125K Miles on it that i will include with the truck, then all you have to do is swap them out you've got a great truck. Will also include a complete gasket kit with the shortblock. Ok, i will post up the route i plan on taking on the road trip so lets say if your not more than an hour off this route im willing to bring the truck to you, if your further please be willing to meet me somewhere along my route and have a tow dolly or trailer. Houston-Texarkana-Little Rock-Memphis-Nashville-Bowling Green-Louisville-Cincinnati-Columbus-Galena OH. Selling body and chassis only. No engine. No transmission. Chassis has two inch drop spindles. It has a ladder bar hung Ford 9in. positraction rear end with disc brakes. There is a brand new CPP power master cylinder with all new lines and proportioning valve. The manual steering has brand new borgeson u-joints (no rag joint) and new shaft. The brakes and steering work perfectly. The body is in very good shape with only minor dings. I have removed the roof rack and polished the roof trim pieces. The doors shut solid and the electric windows all work. The interior is very good. The dash is a Cyber-Dyne digital unit. I have a new Billet grill insert. Last year of this body style. Never in any accidents. Not a dent or door ding on the truck. No dents or dings in the bed either. Underneath the truck looks like the top - dry and clean. Will not lower any of the fluids. This truck runs and drives excellent. Would drive anywhere. Truck had never pulled anything until I recently put a ball on the truck to get a new lawn mower.
