This an original Fleetside with an upgraded drive train and other custom features which looks good at 10 feet but needs a new paint job. It has an 350 small block with a comp cam, Edelbrock 750 carb and a 350 auto transmission. It has a custom exhaust system which exits out each side through Headman headers and Flowmaster mufflers. It has power front disc brakes, power steering, four link suspension and a12 bolt rear end. The interior has power windows, deluxe steering wheel with tilt and new custom gauges. The oak and stainless longbed is in excellent condition as are both chrome bumpers and the chrome grill. A newer fuel cell is located in the bed to eliminate the original tank behind the front seat. This truck is a great driver and gets a lot of looks just the way it is now. A new paint job would add a lot of value to a rare Fleetside. I have a clear California title but the truck is located in Florida. You are encouraged to inspect this vehicle in person or by your agent. I have sold many vehicles on EBay with 100% feedback. It looks breathtaking in person. The truck has been lowered 1.5 inches. It sits on Coker Classic Wide White Wall Tires and factory steel rims with poverty caps. The birch wood in the bed is beautiful. The box has been cut down to to a short box. its 6.5 feet long on the inside. The interior is very simple and clean. The dash has the original gauges and a factory radio. The Lokar floor shifter and GM title column make driving this truck a breeze. The seat is a two tone vinyl. The floor has been dynamited and covered by a factory rubber floor mat. The Vortex motor and 4L60E transmission came from a 2006 GMC. They run perfectly and provide a tremendous amount of power. the 10 bolt limited slip rear end is from a trans-am. There is a fuel cell under the bed in rear of truck with new fuel pump. This is a one of a kind build and you will not find another truck like this one. The cost to source and build a machine like this is well in excess of the starting bid. This is my daily driver. I take it everywhere with no issues. Runs nice and cool in the Vegas heat. Chevy Apache Fleetside 3200 longbed pick up. Engine is a rebuilt 327ci with trubo 350 auto trans. Too many new parts to be listed. This was my first restoration (completed 2012) the body work and paint are not perfect but truck looks and runs well. This truck is not a profesional restoration. This truck was recently traded to us just as you see it presented here. At sometime in it's life, it had been treated to a frame on restoration. I see NO signs of previous accident or rust damage. The chrome is nice and pit free, and the interior, while not original, is quite nice. The side moldings on the bed are not original. They are the stick on kind that you would buy in a parts store. I had NO IDEA, until a friend pointed this out!! You might not have known either, but I wanted to let you all know! 1959 is the last year of this most desired body style. This is a great looking and driving truck that won't kill your wallet, or bank account. If you watch the big name collector auctions, you already know that antique trucks are on a huge upswing. When we acquired this truck, we did all of the hydraulics in the brake system. All 4 wheel cylinders, hoses, and the master cylinder were replaced with NEW!! Shoes and hardware were good, and did not need replaced. Due to sticky valves, and a crack, we replaced the cylinder head with a re-manufactured one. Of course, fresh tune up was done also. We also installed a rebuilt carburetor, new voltage regulator, AND a new battery. It now runs and drives fantastic. I've driven it about 100 miles or so to be sure!!! Nice and smooth with no shakes or shimmys. Hits the road at highway speeds with no problem. The gas gauge, and wipers are not working. All other gauges and lights work as designed. As with all classic and collectable vehicles, our Gorgeous Apache' is being sold without warranty. We have a clean Pa. tile that reads exempt for mileage. 1958 Chevy Half-Ton Fleetside Apache Short Box, 283 V8, 3 speed on the column, Fathom Blue, new paint, new interior less than 5 years ago, very solid truck, no rust issues, correct hucaps, fully detailed, glass and chrome in very good condition, new tire, runs and drives fantastic, decals on door and wood on bo are removable, we used this truck for showing and pleasure, also had engined detailed last summer, very rare truck. Feel free to have it inspected, I have no problem with that. The truck is and has been in heated storage.

I have listed this vehicle for a friend, please contact him for detailed information & additional photos, by either email [email protected] or phone: Jay (510) 908-1301 Thanks 1959 APACHE LONGBED FLEETSIDE PICKUP WITH A HAND MADE WOOD FRAMED ONE OF A KIND CAMPER. all stock truck,oil bath air filter, floor start button. very clean, very staight, very original,new brakes all around, new clutch etc. lots of work done over the last few years and I have the receipts. the camper was built on the truck in the early 60s by edward sasse who used to work for airstream. the camper is in excellent shape. watertight, no creases,dents etc. a 12 volt marine battery has been installed in the engine compartment to power the campers interior lights. there is also a built in 110 volt hookup and fuse box to power a period electric fan and additional lights. my favorite feature is the built in icebox cooler right inside the backdoor. tailgate or carshow in style. this thing really is super cool. for more info. please call jay at 510-908-1301
