Amazing patina 1954 chevy pickup. This is what everyone wants. Very clean and dry south dakota vehicle. Does not run and rolls well. These sell done for 30-40k. Put 10k into it with a motor, trans, wheels and lower it. Then double your money. Patina is awesome and cannot replicate. Inside of engine bay and underside of truck is so dry. Quite amazing for a vehicle over 60 years old. Look at pictures to see. Some rust holes as shown. Bed wood is party missing. Clean tn title matching the original door pillar vin plate. this really helps and in my experience is a huge time saver as well as assures no headaches. Look around and see how many have this. Plans were to put mustang II on front from chassis engineering as well as rear drop kit and a nice motor. This way no frame swaps which who knows what was done and never mind the insurance issues this could cause if ever in an accident. And forget the possible DMV/police issues with a frame from one truck and body of another. Do it right.. original frame, new bolt on front end, rear drop and new motor/trans. Get some wheels and a wiring harness. Off you go and you have a real ratrod with no title issues. Rat rod also has upgraded suspension and drivetrain. Nice investment. Sold as is where is. Obviously no refunds but who would want one? Not many like this... flat windshield too. Truck does not run. Rolls great. You will need a winch and trailer which you must provide upon pickup.

Offering my 1950 Chevy 3100 rat rod pickup. This rod is cool. The 1950 Chevy pickup has awesome patina.. all even and not pieced together. Many trucks for sale are pieced together from various trucks...bed from one, cab from another, fenders from a third. To me, one truck with the same patina looks the best. You have that here... Engine is Chevy 350 from a 1978 1 ton pickup. Turbo 400 transmission. The truck is mounted on a 1977 Monte Carlo frame. Many have not seen this type of build and I was used to these being put on an extended cab s10 from the 80's-90's. But a few issues with these is the width presents some challenges for the rear. The Monte Carlo frame is wider and fits much better for the 50's truck. What is even better on this build is the mounting of the cab and bed was done by a gentleman who owns/operates his own welding shop. Nobody better that could have done the welding. It has been checked by my friend who is a long time fabricator/mechanic and he commented how well everything was done, square, etc. The welder has done several of these trucks and it has been done properly unlike many of the hacked together rides out there. I have no worries on this area. He even redid much of the floors with overkill on the metal. Solid. Nice. What is great about the Monte Carlo is the suspension and disc brakes in the front. Just much better ride on these! When i got the truck, there were some issues which were addressed. Here is a list of items updated/fixed:1. Gas tank relocated to bed. Spend many hours finding a tank that would fit under the bed but not at the rear sticking out of the bed floor. Found a universal tank and spent much time mounting it under the front of the bed and putting in a fill into the side of the bed! Awesome work fabricating mounting of the tank and routing the fill to the side of the truck giving full use of the bed. Never a worry of throwing something on the fill neck in the bed. I think this is a great feature. Original tank is out of the cab which I felt was great as I hated gallons of gas behind my butt. New VDO gas gauge also run to side of the column as I did not want to hack into the dash. Alot of hours went into mounting, fabricating and positioning the tank with side outlet.2. Brakes: Brakes were in need of work. Changed out front pads and also one of the hoses on the rear. Rear shoes & cylinders had been recently changed so no need to change again. Some work done on front disc brakes to ensure fully working 100%. Fluid flushed out, bled, and working great. No worries on brakes here. 3. Water pump replaced. Truck was spitting out drops of antifreeze and water pump was leaking. This was changed out and new upper/lower hoses along with antifreeze. All fixed up to the aluminum radiator. Should be all ok for the warm summer months coming. 4. Steering: Did not like the feel of the steering as it was loose. Obviously something important so changed out the steering box for a new unit. Works so much better now! 5. Welding: Under the seat were some tiny holes/pinholes that I just was not happy about. Sure it is a rat rod but just bothered me. Fabricated some metal for under the seat and also on passenger side just to make it more to my liking. Most probably would not care but I did. Much better now.6. Shifter: Put in a new shifter which does lock as expected but to be honest - not positioned properly. I dont like it but it is functioning as it should which from a safety standpoint is best. I would probably grab a Lokar 32" or something to make it right which I believe mounts on top of the transmission so that it is middle of the floor. 7. Transmission: Replaced trans fluid and filter. Issues: As it is a rat rod, Ive noticed a couple of things. Transmission..when it is warm, reverse takes a second to kick in. I dont care. it works fine to me. Choke setup on motor should be updated but starts up fine. might need front wheel balancing but id just throw new wheels on it.If you are looking for cool, this is it. Unique, updated, fixed... it is ready to go. Probably the most solid one Ive seen in a while. Ive had a few of these in the past and this one is the best. I do like the Monte frame as the base ...
