You are looking at a 1957 Chevy Apache pick up. This truck was built to have the nostalgic look of an Apache but with modern drivability. It features a last model chassis with independent front suspension, power steering, and power disk brakes. Powering this truck is a 350 V8 engine with a 350 Turbo transmission. It has a late model 10 bolt rear with drums. All gauges, heat, speedometer, electric wipers, lights and turn signals work as they should. It also has new chrome bumpers. This truck is in great condition both inside and out as you can see from the pictures. I would not hesitate to drive this truck across country tomorrow. She starts right up every time and runs strong and smooth. Does great on the highway! It has a smooth running and easy starting 6cyl motor and 3-speed on the floor transmission. It still has the floor starter. This truck is in fairly good shape and is very restorable or make into a hot rod/rat rod. It has been changed over to Chevy truck 5-lug bolt pattern. The bed is very solid. There is some rust in the lower doors, specifically the driver doors. Fenders are in good shape. This will be an easy project. We are currently running this truck on a gas can since we do not know how long the gas in the tank has been in there. The truck starts and goes in gear and "lot drives". There appears to be a leak in one of the brake lines causing it to loose brake pressure. All the glass is present and in good shape with the exception of the driver door which has cracked. Please understand that you are looking at a project truck that is running. Please do not buy if you are expecting a truck to take on a road trip this weekend. This is an easy project but it is a project. I have personally built several of these trucks and this is a great one to start with.
