Drivetrain: Aluminum 4 core radiator 5.3 LS motor Holly hi-ram intake 92mm throttle body Cam/beehive springs/ texas speed push rods 4L60e trans with 3500 stall converter and shift kit. Up for sale is a hard to find 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Five (5) Window Pick-up Truck. I purchased the truck from an individual in New Mexico. I was told that the truck sits on a 1978 Chevy frame. The truck has a small block Chevy engine, automatic transmission, and disc brakes. Please look closely at all of the pictures for cosmetic condition. I have purchased a new rear window and window seal that will be included with the purchase. If I get time, I will try and install the window prior to the truck being picked up, but I cannot make any guarantees. Mechanically the truck needs an ignition switch installed. I have purchased one, but haven’t had the time to put it on yet. The truck will run and drive, but the ignition will have to be installed or it will have to be hot wired to start in its present condition. Please keep this in mind if you are going to have the truck shipped as I cannot guarantee that the ignition will be installed prior to the truck being picked up. I am not a mechanic, but the ignition seems like a simple three wire job. The truck will need some work to be a road worthy dependable mode of transportation (engine tune-up, clean fuel lines & tank, etc.). The truck will be sold as is where is, and I encourage any potential buyers to inspect it prior to purchase. The truck has a clean New Mexico title in the name of the individual that I bought the truck from. I also have a signed bill of sale and a signed Texas Application for title. I buy and sale old vehicles as a hobby, and if you are not comfortable with the fact the title is not in my name please do not submit an offer. Please email me with any questions.
