1968 Chevy II Nova SS Super Sport 4 speed - One Year Only Options - Hard Find 1968 Chevy II Nova SS 4 speed with matching number 327 engine. Car is super solid with original body panels. Trunk is solid as well. The car very minimal rust and is straight. The truck lid has the worst place on it. It was a dent that someone started to fix and they left it bare metal as you'll see in the photos. The Nova has a bench seat and does have a 4 speed transmission. I have checked the engine and it is matching numbers. I have not checked the transmission. It didn't matter to me when I bought it. I didn't even know it had the original engine in it for about 2 years. A friend pointed it out to me and talked me into leaving it in the car. I had intentions of a big block and fresh paint. Anyway, the car is certainly unmolested and in spectacular condition. The car also runs and drives. The engine does not smoke but does have a rod that is making a noise. It is in the early stages and hasn't been run much since it started. It will easily crank up and pull on a trailer with no problems. The car has a 10 bolt rear and I don't have a clue what gear ratio it is. It has non power drum brakes, and no power steering. All of the windows are good. I do have the rear window and removed it to check for damage and found none. I buy my share of old cars and keep something in restoration at all times. I've not had a Nova this solid ever. This car is in amazing condition. I'm offering it for sale to see if anyone might want it. If so, I'll move on to the next one. If not, I'll take it apart and redo it. I was lucky to find this car in the shape it's in and I know what I've got. I'm looking for a buyer that knows what he's looking at too. What you see is what you get. I am looking to get paid in cash when you pick it up. If you send transportation to me, then we'll have to work out payment in full before it leaves my possession. I do have a clear title to the car. For sale is my 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS (clone). I have owned the car for several years after buying it from my son. The car came to me with a small block 350 and was raced at the local dragstrips. About two years ago I pulled the engine and trans and installed a fresh 402 ci big block and a TH400 transmission. The interior was redone in black. Installed up front is an aluminum radiator, electric fan and an electric water pump. Fuel is delivered by way of an electric fuel pump to a Holly 750. An emergency battery disconnect switch is mounted next to the right rear tail light. Shortly after the build we moved to a new location and I have been unable to get back to putting it on the road. The engine has been fired and sounds and feels strong . Timing and carb adjustments may be in order. There are no wipers or wiper motor (not needed for racing) and all tires are like new.

1963 Chevrolet nova SS Convertible This is an original SS car, but has been upgraded / improved. I have owned this car for over 25 years. It has been my baby all this time. When I bought it, it had been restored and given to a 16 year old girl by her grandfather for her birthday. She grew tired of it after one year and I bought it. Was driven often and enjoyed by me all these years. I have had just about every nut and bolt off and back on at one time or another. Did many upgrades and improvements and restorations since I bought it. It is an original SS car that had a straight 6 and a powerglide in it. Changed over to 5 lug suspension soon after I got it because the 4 lug brakes were under designed on these cars. Added a V-8 about 12 years ago. Put in a TH-350 transmission about 10 years ago. Manufactured a Lokar shifter bracket to work so that it could retain the original console and original floor shifter look. Upholstery and new top redone about 9 years ago. Repainted about 7 years ago. Paint is flawless still. The photos with the top up were taken before it was repainted. Interior is beautiful but could use new carpet. Put in a 605 quick ratio power steering box. Added power brakes. Has Edelbrock manifold and 4 bbl carburetor. Put in a Church Boys lower A a-arm control arm upgrade kit last year. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster like mufflers. Has a 1958 Impala steering wheel. This car is a real joy to drive. Many great memories.
