1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Check out this 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova. The car was recently restored. The undercarriage is as clean as the top side (see pics). The car has been just completed. The car starts, idles and accelerates like a rocket with the GM 355 motor. The heads are cast double hump and have the big 190/202 valves for great flow. The Proform Street Series supplies the fuel and is nicely tuned. Car starts very easily and idles without any issues. The rebuilt Turbo 350 trans and 2500 stall pulls off without vibration and shifts very smoothly. The front end handles the road great. The car cruises down the road at highway speeds with no vibrations or wandering. It steers with ease and stops with no pulling or vibrations. The 10 bolt posi rear end with 373 gears gives you the low end “pin you to your seat” acceleration that will make you grin from ear to ear. It is a very good cruiser, very dependable and a real eye catcher. The paint is fresh (just finished) with no miles on it, in very good shape with no scratches, dings or issues. It was wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. You have to see it in person to believe it. The body work is straight and the body gaps are great. Many, many hours went into the body work to achieve such a nice paint job. There are no fitment issues. The car is fast but at the same time is very dependable. If car shows are your thing then you should be able to bring home many trophies with this beautiful car. I have set a reasonable But It Now price. It is WAY less than you could ever come close to building this car for. It has a Holley intake with Edelbrock 4BBL carburetor. Electronic ignition has been installed. The exhaust manifolds are correct for a 1966 283ci. Please look at the engine photos to see how nice the engine compartment looks. The engine starts and runs excellent with no overheating or messy leaks or drips. Transmission: The transmission is a 4-speed and shifts up and down the gears fine. Exterior: The exterior is exceptional. The paint, chrome and bright work are in very good to excellent condition. All glass is very good to excellent condition. Rims and tires are excellent. Interior: The interior is in very good condition overall. There are no rips or tears in the upholstery. The dash, headliner, sail panels and package tray are all in very nice condition. The carpet is in very good condition and has what appears to be new NOVA floor mats. The door panels are in good condition as well with nicely installed speakers. All seat belts are present. Door locks and windows are in good working order. Rear Axle: The rear axle is a 10-bolt and has no leaking, clunking or funny noises. Undercarriage: The undercarriage is clean and shows to be in very nice overall condition as you will see the photos. The exhaust system is in good condition. Electrical: All exterior lights are in working order to include the headlights, tail lights, running lights, blinkers and the plate light. (The backup lights are not connected.) The speedometer, wipers, horn, cigarette lighter and gauges are all functional. The heater works fine. The interior light works. The AM/FM cassette radio works but because it was drawing off the battery, even when the key was off, I disconnected the wire going to the positive side of the battery which in turn made the radio non-operational. Trunk: The trunk is in very good rust free condition with a spare but no jack assembly. Mechanical: The brakes to include the emergency brake work correctly. The steering is very good with no power steering. The suspension is very good with no issues. Tires and rims are excellent. The Nova starts, shifts and drives down the road great. I have tried very hard through description, photos and video to present this 1966 Nova 400 2-Door Sport Coupe honestly and fairly. Beautiful 67 Chevy II Nova hardtop. California car, never rusted, all original panels except new steel 2" cowl induction hood. Only about 3500 miles since total restoration. 350 ZZ3 345 hp GM Performance crate engine. Aluminum Corvette heads, "pink" rods, full roller cam, all of this is as it came from GM. Holley 650 cfm carb. B&M performance TH350 trans. 9" Ford posi rear built by Dutchman. Heidt's complete new sub-frame with tubular A arms, rack & pinion steering, power disk brakes. The cleanest rust free original floors I have ever seen. They still have the original factory finish on them, and are dry, smooth and rust free. The restorer very wisely chose to leave them untouched, rather than clean and paint them, or even worse, to undercoat them. That would make it impossible to tell if new floors or panels had been welded in. "They are only original once" Show quality professional paint job, truly a 9.9 on scale of 1-10. Vintage 15" Cragars. Excellent chrome and trim. Very nice cloth and vinyl interior with bench seat. This car drives better than new, front end makes a huge difference over stock. Very fast car, shifts firm, stops great. Runs perfect. I have owned and driven this 3 years and it is totally dependable. Showing 73,578 miles, but still driving it, so that will go up a little. One of the nicest 67 Nova's anywhere. For sale,1966 Nova 2 door hardtop. The car was Purchased out of Arkansas and was Full Of Rust and Bondo. I started a Full Restoration on the Car But A Family Matter has Side Tracked the Build and now I Need to sell the car. The Car has New 1967 Fenders, Upper and lower Vent Grille, Inner and Outer Cowl panels, Brand New Firewall, New Firewall Braces, New Full Floor Pan, New Full Wheel houses, New Front Shock Tower Assembly, Lower Trunk Filler Panels, Full Quarter Panels with Sails, and Front Bumper filler Panel, and Tail Light Caps. I Have all the Stainless trim, Front Bench seat that Originally came with the car as well as the rear seat. Front windshield need replaced it was broke when purchased.
