1971 Nova Custom Pro Street This build stared with a rust free 1971 V8 Nova. This car drives like it's on rails, corners and handles excellent due to its 100% upgraded suspension. Extremely "FAST" with it's BB 550HP engine. It stops on a dime with its 4 wheel power disc brakes. Here are some of its features: Professionally built 454 Big Block engine bored to 468, balanced, 10:1 compression, Big Comp Cam, ARP race rod bolts, oil passages and galleys improved, lots of machine work. Harden seats, Guide plates, harden pushrods, hydraulic lifters, 101 mL closed chamber high compression design heads, Edelbrock Polished intake manifold with dual 4 barrel quad AVS Thunder 600 CFM carbs. Hooker big tube SuperComp headers, 3 inch exhaust system with flow masters, MSD ignition, Professionally built turbo 400 with 2500 RPM stall converter, B&M quicksilver shifter with Line lock button shifter handle. Line locks. largest aluminum radiator available was squeezed in for perfect cooling with electric fan. Properly tuned for smooth fun and reliable acceleration. Engine and transmission work perfectly. Car also has been lowered with 2" drop spindles, HEIDTS tubular upper and lower a arms with coil over front suspension. TCI rear suspension system with four wheel Willwood power disc brakes, rear coil over's, subframe connectors, anti-roll bar, anti-hop system. New subframe body bushings, Heavy Duty Ford 9" rear end with 370 geared posi-traction that tops this Professionally installed racing suspension. Also has BFG TA radials with SS Craiger rims with three spoke knock offs. 15 x 7 P215 65 front tires and 15 x 8 P255 60 rear tires. These are the biggest tires you can get on the car without cutting it up. They don't rub and it rides perfect. The handling and stopping on this Nova is truly amazing. Some other features include a Painless wiring system, Iauto meter dash basil with 165 mph speedometer, Oil PSI, Tach, differential temperature gage, trans temperature gage, fuel gage, alternator gage. Stainless fuel lines, chrome oil pan, New gas tank with electric fuel pump, Chrome HD drive line, chrome hood hinges, Power Steering , New chrome trim throughout with new window felt, new weather stripping, fuel and battery shut offs and two battery system in trunk area. Sound system is a combination of Alpine, Kenwood and kicker sub woofer and there is a lot more little items that make this car special. The build was completed in 2009. Car has a black Cherry paint with Black SS stripes, shaved door and trunk handles, There is no rust. Excellent interior. Never raced with a bit over 1000 miles on it. Engine and drive train work perfectly. Very dependable. Needs some odds and ends with someone willing to make perfect. Car comes with a boxful of tens of thousands of dollars worth with of receipts.
