Selling my 1970 Nova 2 Door. It has a newer re-built, with little expense spared, 307 SBC with headers and brand new, professionally installed Dual Exhaust with Dual Flowmaster 44 Mufflers. Most everything under the hood is brand new! New Brakes all around from shoes to Master Cylinder and Booster. Original Drum Brakes. Has new Carpet, Door Panels, Floor Mats, Weather Stripping, Etc Etc. Hood is off a restored 68 Nova and Trunk Lid is new aftermarket. New Rear Bumper. This car has been a labor of love for me but due to declining health/autoimmune disease, I am forced to sell the car. It is not a perfect car, needs body work, headliner and of course.....paint. This car could be a really good daily drive for someone. It does have it's issues but I have repaired or replaced most of the components of this car I will include over 5k in receipts of parts we have purchased for this car. The tires are BF Goodrich 235R60 on the rear and 215R60 on the Front. Brand new Tires! Less than 100 miles on them. The Rear axle was switched to a Ford Dana 44 Posi axle. This car has all new shocks and ball joints. I can answer questions about the car, I think it is originally a 6 Cylinder car. I will add more pics, the trunk looks great, no Rust issues! There are some pin holes in the Floorboards on the passenger side front. Nothing that stopped me from throwing carpet over it. We Sanded and painted the underneath top to bottom. Recent tuning with overall check and maintenance. Runs on 93 octane pump gas and higher. Numbered midnight blue exterior, black and bare interior, 43,309 miles, 6 point roll cage with swing out bars, Corbeau driver’s seat (no harness, shoulder and lap belts), a passenger seat, no back seat or package tray but trunk is separated from cabin, no air ducts, vents, radio or carpet. New battery with quick disconnect on battery terminal, NOS window felts and door seals, headliner is in very good condition. Built 350 Trans w/stage 2 shift kit, slap shift and extra trans cooler. Performance flywheel and torque converter, no stall or trans brake. Done in '96. The car was originally a manual transmission and changed before I got it. Moser 12 bolt Dana rear w/4.11 ratio true track diff with Willwood disc brakes. Mini tub, 295/65 15 Mickey Thompson ET Street tires on Centerline 15” rims, 4 link, adjustable coil overs, ladder bars and properly leveled. New housing, axle rods, bearings, etc, long wheel lugs, fully boxed in, large balanced drive shaft with front and rear catch loops, under hood rewired, 100 amp single wire alternator, rear wheel disc brakes added with a vacuum reserve can, new large booster and master cylinder. Done in ’06. New front tires with 15” Centerline rims. The other matching set of rims that were on back before the mini tub are included. Fiberglass deck lid, no latch or hinges. It is held on with 4 "hood" locks. 15 gal Fuel cell "in the trunk" with connected return line. Trunk floor pan cut, reinforced and gasketed for proper seating. Deck lid must be removed to refuel. 1978 Nova 2 Door Coupe. NO MOTOR or TRANSMISSION, A ROLLER CAR. Car was Blue. Interior has been removed, doors are cut out, doors and side windows are lexan, seats are just sitting in it, not bolted down, 4 point roll cage. I installed a new UNLIMITED Prod. 4 in fiberglass hinged hood 2 years ago, replaced front brake calipers, front brake lines and hoses, front springs, lower ball joints, rear springs and shackles. It has frame connectors, 8.5 Differential with tubes welded, Richmond mini spool, don't remember gear,4.56 or 4.11, Aluminum rims. Front and back windows are glass. Floor pans could use some repair or replacement, trunk was cut out in center for fuel cell. Front shocks are in the trunk, no rear shocks. Rear drivers side quarter has been repaired at one time. This is still a very sold Nova for its age, there is some rust, but not a rusted out piece of crap. This is a pickup only, I live in INDIANA, so remember that when you hit the BUY IT NOW !!!!!!! Ok guys, I will do my best to give you all the info I can. I just purchased the vehicle yesterday the 20th of October but it needs more tinkering than I am comfortable with doing, therefore I am reselling to get my money back out of it. It was originally a 350 4bb car from California. It was at one time a race car or so I was told. It had been going through some steps to make it more of a street cruiser. It has 4 point roll cage. New summit racing seats and belts. passenger side belt needs bolted in. no key ignition, has switches for fuel pump, fan , kill switch and push button start. Rear seat appears new, no head liner but the clip/wire kit for it is included and new. all new emblems. nice new chrome bumpers. Front clip is off a 72 nova. Has ceramic headers and nice straight back exhaust. Fuel cell in the trunk along with shut off under bumper. electric fuel pump. Just spent 130$ more on new battery. Trunk has nice 10" rockford speakers. Audio sounds good and is loud. New carpet in car and lots of new chrome. Previous owner stated he had over 20,000.00 in vehicle. You can tell there are a lot of expensive pieces here but does need some tlc. Paint looks cool but isn't the best. very minor body issues that I could find. Small rust hole starting driver side behind tire down at bottom fender. Paint is custom and isn't the best by no means but is cool. Lots of clear coat. Has chips here and there. Under car is solid and clean. Mono leaf setup. We have extra rear end we are trying to put in as the spider gears are out of this one currently and may need work. Motor sounds great, nice growl. Starter may need adjusted via shims as its drags sometimes but we are trying to resolve that too. Getting blow by at strong acceleration as dipstick lets oil through. Car does not smoke. Pcv valve seems good. Valve covers are very shallow and sit very low. Breather on cover seems clear. Dash of car looks pretty good. Glass in car is good. door windows are off track I guess and will need set up. Door pins need replaced. nice new Lokar shifter. I have yet to get the exact info on the crate motor as far as heads, cam, etc. Spectre 700r4 transmission. not sure of stall converter either. Has brand new wiring harness and packaging is in the trunk. I have someone coming out to try and put rear back for you to test drive with. Has new tires and new ridley rims. Missing one center cap. Ebay has for 30$. Hood appears to be a new hood and new springs underneath. Trunk deck looks new too but not 100% sure. Has new front disks, calipers, and brakes. Windshield at rear view mirror is cracked. I cannot remember everything that the gentleman did prior to me but there is a lot of new stuff here. If you are looking for a good starter with minimum big work then this is for you. I am not a full time mechanic and was looking more for a driver. I sent a family member to pick up so it was a gamble for me. I feel it would be good for someone with a garage or interest in restore but def not for me!! Recommend you come see it. Does need work. Cool car that needs a little love. DO NOT WASTE MY TIME WITH LOW BALL OFFERS!
