1966 Chevy II (Nova) Real SS but not original motor. Has a 283 with a 350 Auto-Transmission. The only damage is a crack in the dash pad no rips or burn marks anywhere. The paint could use a update and the red stripes are painted on and fading. No rust anywhere as was a California car. All original panels and no bondo. Has original SS tach and gauges. Selling my 1970 Nova 2 Door. It has a newer re-built, with little expense spared, 307 SBC with headers and brand new, professionally installed Dual Exhaust with Dual Flowmaster 44 Mufflers. Most everything under the hood is brand new! New Brakes all around from shoes to Master Cylinder and Booster. Original Drum Brakes. Has new Carpet, Door Panels, Floor Mats, Weather Stripping, Etc Etc. Hood is off a restored 68 Nova and Trunk Lid is new aftermarket. New Rear Bumper. This car has been a labor of love for me but due to declining health/autoimmune disease, I am forced to sell the car. It is not a perfect car, needs body work, headliner and of course.....paint. This car could be a really good daily drive for someone. It does have it's issues but I have repaired or replaced most of the components of this car I will include over 5k in receipts of parts we have purchased for this car. The tires are BF Goodrich 235R60 on the rear and 215R60 on the Front. Brand new Tires! Less than 100 miles on them. The Rear axle was switched to a Ford Dana 44 Posi axle. This car has all new shocks and ball joints. I can answer questions about the car, I think it is originally a 6 Cylinder car. I will add more pics, the trunk looks great, no Rust issues! There are some pin holes in the Floorboards on the passenger side front. Nothing that stopped me from throwing carpet over it. We Sanded and painted the underneath top to bottom. For Sale is a '71 Nova that was purchased & driven in Southern California through the years, not wrecked, abused, taken apart or driven in SALT. It's a solid honest car that is 44 years old with all of it's original GM sheet metal panels intact & factory paint. KNOWN HISTORY: This Placer Gold Nova was purchased new in Southern California and remained there for most of it's life until coming to North Idaho where I bought it (about 15 years ago) from my neighbor who was the original owner's son. I have the Original Protect-O-Plate & Glove box Owners Manual & Data sheet (all included with car). DOES NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION - originally a 307 V8 w/Turbo 350 - now has a 350 & turbo 350. Runs & drives good. Body Condition as Follows: PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS The Original Paint is very thin on the top & lower portions of this car & looks better in the listed photos than it does in person. The side paint is much better where it was not in direct sunlight over the years. The body has small dents & dings here & there with the worst being the driver's side front fender lip where the original owner clipped the garage door opening. The only known (Rust Through Area) is on the same left front fender close to the bottom - see close-up photo with pencil to show the size. All other areas on the body have light surface rust where the paint is either worn off, scratched or thin. Trunk Area & Inside Rear Fenders - Great shape with Original GM Factory Trunk Paint. On one or two of the pictures of the underside of the car, I've sprayed water on the surface to show the condition of those areas which shows the factory gold paint over-spray that is still present. This is a 73 Nova. It is in good condition, but not quite show ready. There has been a lot of money put into this car. Most of the body work has been done. It will take some more primer and sanding for it to be ready for paint, or run it Mad Max style like I have and leave it with just primer. It runs well. Recently rebuilt 350. Interior is good, but not perfect. Seats are presentable, but not perfect. Dash cap is new. needs driver door lock knob. CD radio works but needs rear speakers and to be mounted better. Rust in trunk. Door interior panels have some damage as well as sill plates. Carpet is fair, small hole on driver side under mat. Fires right up and runs well. It is pretty fast and gets lots of attention. Tires are good, Cooper Cobra. Air shocks in back, fill behind plate. 2 Emblems come with car, not attached. Chrome needs polished, some rust on bumper.
