There's also a stout running 327, cold A/C, and the perfect stance to make this the car that will stand out by making you focus on the details. Code 56 Cream Yellow is this car's original color, and with that in mind, it's no surprise that they chose something a little more sporting during the build. Of course, the paint is two-stage urethane, so it has a depth and shine that 1972 General Motors never could have matched, which is a big part of why this car looks so amazing. The bright Arctic White finish is low-key, but adding the bright red SS stripes really make this car pop. Underneath, there's impeccable panel prep and a lot of hours invested in block sanding it, which also enhances the ultra-clean look. The compact 2-door post coupe is the one you want for street performance, combining the lightest weight with the stiffest body, although there's no evidence this one was ever abused or wrecked. SS badges and a blacked-out tail panel accurately reproduce the SS look, and we love the standard hood with chrome inserts rather than the more mundane cowl induction setup. Someone clearly thought carefully about the details on this one. The awesome red interior works well, too, especially with all the new components that have been stuffed inside. Like the exterior, they went with the original-style equipment, including buckets and a console, to neatly straddle the line between restoration and resto-mod. New carpets and door panels make it feel almost new in there, and the original wheel is a familiar sight to anyone who has driven a 1970-ish Chevy. And for a value-priced Nova, the builder certainly dressed it up a bit by adding A/C and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, which sounds great in the well-damped interior. The horseshoe shifter is still the coolest way to manage an automatic transmission and a full set of Auto Meter gauges monitor all the vitals. The trunk is nicely finished and offers plenty of room for your stuff on a road trip or heading to the track. The original L48 Nova SS wasn't much to write home about, making just 200 horsepower, but the 327 living under the hood now is substantially more muscular. With an Edelbrock intake and Holley carburetor on top, an upgraded cam inside, and a 2.5-inch dual exhaust system with Flowmasters underneath, it definitely sounds and acts like a muscle car. A few chrome dress-up items add some sparkle to the neatly restored engine bay and the splash of red offered by the MSD ignition system works better here than almost anywhere else. The TH350 3-speed automatic snaps through the gears and spins a 10-bolt rear and while you're under there looking around, note that the floors are tidy and the suspension has been lightly lowered giving it the ideal street rake. 17-inch Eagle wheels have been fitted, and with that lowered stance, they look exactly right. Between the upgraded suspension and meaty 245/45/17 performance radials, this car corrects what was one of the Nova's biggest shortcomings: its handling. Nicely restored, this Nova is ready to rock and provides a slightly different take on an old favorite. Oh no, this one is definitely something special, from the fuel-injected small block to the pro-touring suspension to the leather-wrapped interior, this is quite likely the finest Nova build we've ever seen. The look is bad in black, and it's not very often we see a black car that pulls it off as effectively as this Nova. The overall look is arresting, and people will stop in their tracks to gawk at this incredible car. Every square inch of steel on the exterior of the car is covered in shiny black paint, but even more importantly, the surface prep underneath was extensive, so it fits together worlds better than it did even when it was new. Two silver SS stripes are the car's signature look, but this one also had most of its trim shaved, including all the emblems, and anything that didn't get deleted was probably covered in more of that deep black paint. That means the bumpers blend into the body seamlessly and the plain rear panel looks especially good without the SS add-ons. A few bright chrome pieces like the door handles and mirrors add just the right amount of contrast, highlighting the black rather than being hidden by it. This car looks purposeful, and you'd better believe it lives up to its billing. The interior is up to the standards set by the bodywork, because it's not only beautifully finished but also highly functional. Anchored by a pair of custom buckets with silver piping, it's driver-oriented without changing the Nova's simple goodness. The back seat was also upholstered to match, and there are fresh door panels and carpets to make it look and feel new. A fat leather-wrapped steering wheel on a tilt column frames a set of beautiful Auto Meter gauges that have a definite vintage look. A/C, a fantastic AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo, and a custom center console with Lokar shifter round out the list of upgrades, and it's all in as-new condition. The feel from behind the wheel is 2015 but the view out over the hood is 1974, making this an awesome blend of the best of both eras. And this Nova is still practical, as it offers a massive trunk that's beautifully finished with a custom bulkhead protecting all the stereo gear. A C4 Corvette donated its heart to the build, a 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 with fuel injection and plenty of power. There's a Lunati VooDoo camshaft inside, a set of Scorpion rocker arms, and a big BBK throttle body to keep it fed, as well as a custom computer program to keep it running like a stocker. It's a neat fit in the Nova's engine bay and looks very OEM aside from the bright polished aluminum dress-up parts. The A/C blows cold, there's a giant radiator up front, and both power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes are included, so it handles like a modern car. The transmission is a built 700R4 with a TCI pan and the long-tube headers with Flowmaster mufflers sound spectacular. Fat sway bars, custom traction bars, subframe connectors, and a set of 3.73 gears in the 10-bolt rear all add up to a car that can more than hold its own on the pavement. The final step was a set of 18x8 Boss Motorsports wheels, and they, too, are black and wrapped in 225/40/18 front and 255/45/18 rear Firestone radials. With a ton of money spent on the build, this is a take-no-prisoners Nova that lives up to its image. Beautifully built and wonderfully fast, you'll never see another one like it. This 1973 Nova SS offers a recent frame-off restoration, a great-running 350 cubic inch V8, which makes good power without adding a lot of weight in the nose, so handling remains crisp, and a 4-speed gearbox for a bit of extra fun. It's a cool cruise night brawler that can more than hold its own at the stop light grand prix. For some reason, these Novas seem to look absolutely smashing in traditional muscle car livery, so they thoughtfully added a steel cowl-induction hood and SS stripes during the build. It shows good gaps and panel alignment, which is typical of these sturdy little cars, and even Novas that have been used in more than their share of street skirmishes seem to hold together better than most cars of the era. The paint is well done, with white SS stripes covering the hood and trunk lid, and who doesn't love Laguna Blue with white stripes? With those stripes, there's no need to keep a low profile, so this car proudly wears '350' badges on the front fenders, a blacked-out SS grille, and a few SS badges as a kind of warning to the unwise. Everything else, from the chrome bumpers to the stainless trim around the wheels arches, was standard Nova equipment, making for a rather well-rounded package. A vast majority of Novas in 1973 were equipped with the standard bench seat, but buckets certainly fit and look right. The black upholstery is new, so they seats look crisp and well-definied, and offer a bit of extra bolstering to help in the handling department. A Hurst shifter complete with cue ball knob lives atop the 4-speed transmission, which tells you that this Nova is all business. The standard Nova dash and gauge cluster doesn't tell you much about what's going on under the hood, and is limited to just a speedometer and fuel level gauge, so they added a tach on the steering column. This one also carries factory A/C, there's a padded center armrest with cup holders, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo system provides the entertainment, so it's ready to cruise. The very clean trunk has no secrets, proving that this is a well-finished car. Power comes from a 350 cubic inch V8 that's a tidy installation in the Nova's engine bay. An Edelbrock Performer intake and a Holley 4-barrel make for a great induction team, while a few chrome dress-up parts make it sparkle. Power steering and brakes are welcome upgrades and the fresh dual exhaust system cackles. All of the A/C components are all new as it recently went through a complete rebuild, so when it's hot outside you can stay cool inside. The floors were replaced during the restoration and the rest of the chassis is quite clean, and includes the aforementioned 4-speed plus lots of new hardware, so this car is ready to cruise this summer with no added work on your part. This Nova SS rides a set of practically brand new 18-inch Ridler wheels sporting 235/40ZR18 skins up front and 255/35ZR18's putting the power to the pavement. This Nova SS has received a second lease on life with a hot small block under the hood and a beautifully done cosmetic restoration. Given the looks and handling of these great cars, it's no wonder they remain extremely popular today. For 1973, this was still a potent performer and the modifications on this one transform it into the car that GM probably wanted to build. This Nova was re-sprayed with a correct 1973 GM color called Targa Blue.. With white stripes along its flanks, it looks the part of a high-performance piece and the workmanship throughout is excellent. The Nova's clean lines were a slam-dunk at the time and have aged extremely well, and this one is a rather rare hatchback body style, which looks like a normal 2-door sedan until you pop the trunk. Body-colored bumpers and a cowl-induction hood help this one attract attention and the extremely nice workmanship doesn't hurt, showing neat gaps and a lot of shine. The stripes match the Nova's angular bodywork and give it a familial resemblance to SS vehicles of the past, which is a nice touch. A blacked-out SS grille is the right look, since this is a legitimate Nova SS and it comes by those '383' badges on the front fenders honestly, but we'll get to the engine in a moment. The high-performance attitude is even more evident inside where comfortable high-back buckets look very similar to those used in the F-Body twins, Camaro and Firebird. It's nice to see that someone went the extra mile to restore this one to such a high level and they even kept the factory mini-console around the shifter for the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. New door panels, a taut headliner, and fresh carpets give it a showroom feel, and doing it in basic black works better than anything else in a car built for combat. The instrument panel is original with its factory tach and auxiliary gauges in the center console, and that 120 MPH speedometer is probably no longer wildly optimistic about this car's performance potential. The hatch area is positively huge and beautifully upholstered with matching black carpet that looks completely untouched. Even the little booties on the struts are in excellent shape! The engine is the original 350 cubic inch V8 now bored and stroked to a far more formidable 383 cubic inches. Built to look very stock, it wears Chevy Orange paint and Chevrolet valve covers, but the Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor, and throaty exhaust system tell a different story. Inside there are heavy-duty components including a full roller valvetrain and I-beam rods for durability. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and highly detailed, with a bright array of colors and textures that give it an authentic look that doesn't need chrome to be interesting. The engine's backed by a quick-shifting TH350 3-speed automatic feeding a 10-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears from Moser Engineering. The front suspension is a QA1 coil-over setup and there are big sway bars at both ends, so this Nova is a great handler. Jet-hot coated long-tube headers and Dynomax mufflers offer a spectacular soundtrack and with Calvert Racing traction bars, it has no problem hooking up those 245/60/15 rear tires that are wrapped around 1969 Camaro Rally wheels. This might very well be the finest Nova we've ever featured. Fully documented with a build sheet, restoration photos, and receipts, it's a no-compromises performance car with an awesome look. The lightweight bodywork is filled with a snarling small block V8 and the hardware to back it up, making this a car to be respected on the streets and at the track. That yellow paint looks great on the Nova's semi-fastback bodywork and yes, it is how this one came from the factory: code 52 Sunflower Yellow. Of course, back in 1971, they didn't have modern urethane paint, so it looks better now than it ever did and thanks to a recent wet sand and buff. The black Z/28-style stripes were added and the Nova wears them well, and they've been painted on, so they're not decals that'll fade and peel. However, aside from the stripes, the bodywork is pretty stock, including an original flat hood instead of the ubiquitous cowl induction unit you see so often. Decent gaps and lots of block sanding before the paint went on pays off with a car that looks like it's had a lot of time and money invested in it, and the shiny bits still shine up beautifully. SS badges were added somewhere along the way, but given how this car looks, that's hardly a demerit. The black interior looks great thanks to a freshening not too long ago using reproduction seat covers and new carpets to give it an almost-new look. Again, it's nice to see that they didn't go overboard with upgrades and modifications, sticking with the factory equipment for seats, door panels, and even the steering wheel. On the other hand, things that help it work better in the heat of battle are definitely welcome, including the Hurst quarter-stick shifter and a full set of Auto Meter Ultra Lite gauges in a slick carbon fiber insert that's a neat fit in the vintage Nova. The dash pad and door panels are in great condition and the back seat could very well be original. It's definitely no-frills, but remember the old drag racer's rule: less weight is like more horsepower, and every little bit helps. The Nova's also a practical muscle car with a good-sized trunk that has floors in good condition with spatter finish paint and a full-sized spare tire. The 350 cubic inch V8 has just the right balance of horsepower and reliability. Thanks to upgrades like an Edelbrock aluminum intake, an upgraded cam, and a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor it has instant throttle response and pulls like a freight train. An electric fuel pump keeps it fed and there's a Mallory electronic ignition system to light it all up. Long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers give it that wicked exhaust note that gets attention without getting annoying and the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission has lightning-quick reflexes. A sturdy 10-bolt rear end doesn't seem to mind the horsepower and the suspension sits just right with enough of a rake to give it an awesome stance without ruining ride quality. Traditional Weld Drag Lite wheels give it a racetrack look and carry staggered 165R15 front and 255/60/15 rear blackwall radials. A neat little Nova packing a big surprise, this is just about the most fun per dollar in our showroom. With maintenance receipts and a proven combination, you can buy this one with confidence. Sure, GM played around with the big block in the Nova, but this one packs an advertised 680 horsepower, making it formidable as well as attractive. But before we get to that big block engine, let's talk about how great it looks. The handsome burgundy paint sets of the clean lines of the second-generation Nova rather well, don't you think? Add in a cowl-induction hood and you get a car that looks like speed rendered in sheetmetal without being too obvious about it. No stripes, no wings, no spoilers, just a clean 2-door sedan that means business. Finish quality is impressive, with a great shine to the paint and decent gaps all around, and it's obvious at a glance that there's a lot of time and effort tied up in this build. Look at the clear reflections in the paint, the bright chrome trim, most of which has been restored, replaced, or polished, and the understated look is insanely appealing once you know what's going on under the hood. It's perhaps too pretty to be a sleeper, but man this is one heck of a potent car without the flash that usually goes along with it. The interior is equally clean and low-key, with factory-style upholstery on bench seats. Of course, everything's new, so the carpets, door panels, and even the dash pad are in excellent condition, and they even kept the stock steering wheel for a true sleeper look at first glance. Looking closer you'll find a full set of Auto Meter gauges in the dash, a neat installation that replaces the original speedometer with a custom-made panel. And yes, you're seeing that correctly, this car has only 46 miles on the build, so it's fresh! There's no radio, no heater, nothing that gets in the way of going fast, and the B&M shifter on the transmission tunnel makes it easy to find the right gear in the heat of battle. Embroidered floor mats dress things up a bit and it's a sure bet that nobody's been in the back seat yet. Even the trunk is beautifully outfitted with a correct mat, spatter-finish paint, and a full-sized spare with jack. The good stuff lies under the hood, where you'll find a 502 cubic inch V8. The braided stainless steel hoses make it look like it was built for the strip, but it's docile enough to work well on the street and it never gets cranky with a giant radiator up front. Some polished aluminum valve covers, Chevy Orange on the block, and satin black inner fenders give you plenty to look at when you pop the hood, and things like power steering make it easy to handle, even with that big chunk of cast iron up front. Power flows through a built TH350 3-speed automatic transmission to a heavy-duty 12-bolt rear end, which is suspended on new leaf springs with traction bars to help put it all down. Long-tube headers are ceramic-coated and feed a fantastic-sounding dual exhaust system, and the ultra-clean floors suggest that the quality workmanship is more than skin deep. 4-wheel disc brakes keep all this go power under control and they chose exactly the right rolling stock in factory Rallys with modern BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radials. This is an extremely well-built car that's as fast as it is pretty. There's nothing else like big block power and this one is set up to use it most effectively. It definitely shows on this 1971 Chevrolet Nova, which is a step above the usual clean muscle, and has become something special. Great paint, a rumbling small block, and a nicely updated interior all give it the impression that this was someone's 4-wheeled dream. Perhaps it's yours, too. Getting a car to sparkle like this isn't easy or cheap, so finding good base stock is always important. This was obviously a pretty clean Nova from someplace warm, but to get it to look so good required major work. Every panel was massaged and smoothed, the doors, fenders, and trunk were fitted with vastly more care than the factory could manage or afford, and the two-stage urethane paint has an inner glow that dances on the Nova's handsome shape. There's no cowl-induction hood, because that would interrupt the smooth look, but it does have shaved emblems and door handles, which give it a street rod look that's unusual among Novas. White SS stripes are always welcome and never look out of place. Both bumpers were painted to enhance the smoothie look and a billet grille simplifies the look in a very good way. If you like Novas, you're going to love how this one looks. The interior, while restored to mostly stock condition, shows the same kind of attention to detail that stands out the minute you open the door. Fresh seat covers and carpets are inviting, and the whole car comes together with an emphasis on functionality. The gauges are original, but the factory dials are joined by a set of white-faced auxiliary instruments down low in the usual spot. There's no console but a trick B&M shifter puts the lever right where you want it and gets rid of the clumsy column shift setup. A beautiful billet steering wheel fits and looks right, and there's an AM/FM/cassette stereo radio in the original dash location. The trunk is upholstered in matching black carpet, which isn't factory correct but then again, this car isn't aiming for a factory look. Instead, it looks professional, and that works exceedingly well here. You're going to be glad to have that oversized rubber on the rear axle given the freshly built 350 cubic inch V8's performance capabilities. It decodes as a 1973 or '74 L48, but it's been fortified and upgraded beyond that today, including a Holley Street Dominator intake and 4-barrel carburetor, Accel HEI ignition system, and long-tube headers to help build some torque. Where the rest of this car is somewhat subtle, the engine bay is an extrovert, with tons of polished chrome, as well as an engine block painted to bright Chevy Orange to really stand out. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic with a manual valve body feeding a 10-bolt rear end with 3.08 gears inside. Flowmaster mufflers and a big-bore dual exhaust system give it a spectacular sound that's going to get a lot of attention, terminating in a set of chrome tips peeking out from under the rear bumper. Setting it all off perfectly are those big 18-inch front and 20-inch rear Torque Thrust wheels, which wear 225/40/18 and 255/35/20 performance radials, respectively. Passion shows in the details, and that's where this car truly shines. This is a lot more than "just" a Nova. Instead, it's got big block power in a small block package, a bulletproof driveline, and a no-frills attitude that invites you to hammer the throttle without a second thought to anything else. The lightweight Nova is a perennial favorite among guys who prefer speed over flash, but this '71 SS is hardly race car raw. The electric blue paint is recent and with a proper cut and buff it'll look truly spectacular. The bodywork underneath is quite good and with a cowl-induction hood up front, it's got a traditional Chevy performance look that hints at what's in store without being super obvious about it. We've always liked the chiseled look of the Nova, and all the evidence we have suggest that this is a real-deal SS, which in 1971 wasn't much more than a trim package, but to Chevy guys, those two little letters make a world of difference. It appears that most of the trim is original and in good shape, perhaps not as fresh as the paint, but certainly usable as-is without any complaints. And while there are still '350' badges on the front fenders, the upgraded small block under the hood today definitely brings the thunder. The black and tan interior is an interesting combination we haven't seen before in a stock Nova, and it actually works rather well with the electric blue paint job and is a welcome relief from the usual black vinyl. Factory buckets are in good condition and matching door panels look quite fresh save for the armrests that are a bit faded. The B&M T-handle shifter suggests that this car is serious in its performance aspirations, but the custom cup holders tucked in behind it says that it's also street-friendly. Factory instrumentation covers nothing more than speed and fuel level, but a trio of auxiliary gauges is fitted under the dash to keep an eye on the engine's vitals. There's also a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo head unit in the dash with speakers in the kick panels and on the rear package shelf, so it sounds great for when you're not running hard. The trunk is also nice and clean with spatter paint like the factory did it. So about those '350' badges... That is indeed a small block under the hood, but it's a 400 cubic inch V8 that carries big cubic inches without the big weight. Thanks to numerous upgrades like a gear drive for the camshaft, double-hump heads, an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold, and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, it cackles and snarls like a big horsepower piece while looking pretty stock. Chevy Orange paint on the block and heads give it a traditional look and the entire engine bay is remarkably clean with great service access for quick tuning at the track. A bulletproof TH400 3-speed automatic will stand up to all the power the 400 can dish out, and with 3.73s in the 12-bolt out back, it's insanely fast off the line. Long-tube headers can only help and Flowmaster mufflers give it that sharp snarl that's familiar to anyone who has driven a big-inch small block. It sits right and a set of traction bars out back make the most of the contact patch and factory SS wheels give it a classic high-performance look. For big performance at a small price, the Nova has been a favorite for decades. With a build designed for one thing only, this car provides a ton of fun for not a lot of cash. Because of this, cars like this 1969 Nova make for some very impressive street machines, with this one offering a thumping 427 in that lightweight 2-door sedan body shell. And as you can imagine, performance is entertaining to say the least. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's have a look at this handsome burgundy coupe. The finish is a few years old and gives the car a grown-up look. No stripes, no spoilers, not even any fake SS badges, just a cowl induction hood that seems perfectly appropriate. The whole car fits together rather well with doors that close easily, a hood that fits flush, and just a bit of rake to accentuate the Nova's semi-fastback profile. Up close, you'll note that the badges on the front fenders read '427' which surely causes some consternation in other cars at red lights, and the '69 Nova's grille is a very attractive design that seems to wrap around the headlights. Chrome bumpers, a bit of polished stainless, and shaved badges result in one clean-looking Nova. You can tell the interior was built for combat, however, as the high-back buckets, small-diameter steering wheel, and B&M shifter all give it away. The Nova's no-frills attitude gives way to a bit of modern comfort that includes those nicely upholstered black seats and it's a nice touch that the rear bench was finished to match. White-faced Auto Meter gauges fill the stock dashboard, which also includes an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit. An under-dash A/C unit blends in so seamlessly that you almost don't notice that it's there and a late-model tilt steering column is a nice addition. Heavy-duty black rubber mats protect the carpets, which appear to be fairly recent, and the door panels are probably too nice to be original but are very accurate reproductions. The trunk is surprisingly spacious, even with an Optima battery mounted back there, and it's all lined in black carpets to give the car a very finished appearance. The badges say 427, and with a 427 crank inside a 454 block, that's exactly what it is. It's a tight fit, but with a smaller power brake booster and chrome master cylinder, there's a little extra room to work with, and with the cowl hood, the Edelbrock intake and Holley carb fit without problems. A late-model serpentine belt drive powers newer accessories for reliability, a setup that also necessitates an electric fan for the aluminum radiator, so it stays cool in traffic. Long-tube headers and twin Flowmaster mufflers offer a very impressive exhaust note and even with that big block up front, the 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission keeps it calm and quiet on the highway. The 10-bolt rear end is sturdy enough for street duty in the relatively lightweight Nova and the chassis has been reinforced with subframe connectors and monoleaf rear springs, as well as front disc brakes. A slightly raked stance comes complements of staggered 195/65/15 front and 255/60/15 rear radials on polished Weld Pro-Star wheels. Nicely built, attractive, and impressively fast, this Nova offers everything you'd want in a vintage muscle car. We file all the necessary documents for export, deliver the car to a US port, secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You, or your agent, are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.

The transmission is a quick-shifting TH350 3-speed automatic feeding a 10-bolt rear end with acceleration-happy 3.73 gears inside.
