My 1950 Chevy Nomad Woody is the culmination of 6 1/2 years of thinking and engineering and 3600 hours of intense Labor and Love. I CALL IT THE "GOMAD NOMAD"See the cool side Lake Pipes??? There is also a set of nice pipes coming out the rear. Flick a switch inside the car and the exhaust can be switched from side to rear and back. The side Lake pipes (LOUD) to the more mellow rear pipes....SO COOL. And fitting for this great car.My 1950 Chevy Nomad Woody is without a doubt unequaled in the thinking and engineering that went into its construction. And No Expenses were spared. Only the best components were used in the hand built construction of this gorgeous automobile. As I'm sure most of you car experts probably know...THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A CHEVY NOMAD WOODY.THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 1950 NOMADSo I'm sure this had to get your attention. This car was totally custom built from the intense artistry that went into the concept of the car to very body panel and nut and bolt that physically completed the car.Virtually every body panel is custom built or a complete revamping and tweaking of an original body panel. It's INCREDIBLE, and that's a definitive understatement. This is a car that I believe would even amaze and intrigue JL who is a supreme automobile collector. All components are Top Notch Quality....no cutting corners or expenses on this beauty. From its Crate Iroc Z 305ci motor to its Crate 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission...only the best went into this car. The best cooling components, the best AC components, the best stereo....it's truly incredible.Even the clamshell hood is totally custom that opens similar to some of the more expensive European sports cars.I could go on for days about all the incredible machine work and custom part making that went into this to the point of boredom. I actually have some brochures that explain it all.READ THE BROCHURE CAREFULLY. IT EXPLAINS SO MUCH OF WHAT WAS DONE AND WHAT IN THE CARAnd speaking of great engines, check out the amazing engine compartment of this stunning custom. It's a brand new crate 305 Iroc Z Chevy V8...tweaked for extra performance and sound. And it's matched to a high performance crate 4 speed auto w/overdrive.Again, only the best. And it looks the best too.The interior is sumptious and gorgeous, reflecting the quality of the rest of the car. And the swivel bucket front seats are the icing on the cakeAnd what defies description is the headliner and console made up of red oak tambour. It's beyond belief and so astoundingly beautiful. Check this out. I will throw in a rare and beautiful 1960's Custom Surfboard. This by itself is a worth a pretty penny. Yours for being the lucky purchaser.I have it for showing with the car. I am personally not a surfer. The only reason I am selling this incredible custom is to get into a Camaro ZL1 or 1LEOk...here we go. EBayers with a 10 or less feedback rating should call me first priorto pushing the BUY IT NOW button or putting in an offer. I CAN BE REACHED AT 915*276*1505Foreign buyers...I will provide a clear titleand clear bill of sale..THAT'S IT. IT'S UP TO YOU TO DO WHAT'S REQUIRED TO SHIP TO YOUR COUNTRYI AM NOT AN EXPORTER. I am relisting again due to the winning bidder who had a zero feedback and assured me he was not a flake won the bid and refused to pay.Big mistake on my part taking his word. His account name is tmacalus1. I will not accept bids if you have less than 10 feedbacks and must contact me first.I also had another knucklehead who had a big feedback rating, bid the reserve price and then retracted his bid so he will also be blocked from bidding. That guy has sold cars before so what goes around comes around. His ebay account name is snoopydog5050 so be cautious of him also. I have raised the buy it now also because of all the lowball offers I received the first time. 1957 Chevy Nomad. This is a California car and has no rust and retains all of its original sheet metal and original paint. There are not many Nomads left with the original paint. As the saying goes they are only original once. The roof was repainted about 12 years ago.The factory undercoating is still present beneath. All of the trim is original and is in incredible condition with no nicks, dents, dings or scratches. The only new trim is the rocker moldings. It's hard to believe that it would not have gotten some sort of damage after 58 years. The bumpers and interior chrome do have some pitting but all of the trim is complete. The glass is in good condition with the exception of the passenger door glass which has a crack. The interior is new except the headliner which is original and only has a very small tear near the rear liftgate. The engine is a 350 with Edelbrock intake and Holley 4 barrel carb.Trans is a turbo 350.The car has headers and new 2 1/2 stainless steel exhaust. The drum brakes are power assist with the original power booster and master cylinder having been rebuilt.Brake shoes and front and rear wheel bearings are new.New shocks. Included in the sale are the original 283 engine with power pack option(4 barrel carb),air cleaner, exhaust manifolds and powerglide transmission, generator, original wheels and hubcaps. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost of car, original engine, trans, and wheels.I will put the eng, trans.and wheels on 2 pallets and and crated so all you have to do is arrange a carrier to pick them up but they must have a pallet jack and lift gate truck. The reason I mention this is in the past I have had carriers show up expecting me to have a fork lift to load which I do not have. Any questions feel free to call Steve 805 581-5676 Car is sold as is with no warranty.

Featuring the same stunning one-year-only styling, it's ornate, sleek, and insanely attractive if you're into cars that can haul. And when was the last time you saw one? Wearing period-perfect two-tone turquoise paint, this gorgeous wagon looks about a mile long and has enough chrome to make it the ideal '50s cruiser. The restoration is brilliant and must have cost a rather large fortune, because there's a lot of sheetmetal and so many little parts and shiny details that the chrome bill alone probably would have bought you a nice '58 Impala hardtop. At any rate, they got their money's worth, because the doors fit well, the hood lines up just right, and the paint has a wonderful period shine that's not too hard and bright like modern urethane, but more akin to '50s enamel. The accessory fender skirts help with the long, low look, and you'll note that this heavy cruiser has tinted glass all around with the right greenish EZ-Eye cast to it. Moving up to the Bel Air line means that all the great stainless side trim, the dramatically sculpted quarter panels, and that massive grille were all standard equipment, and the wagon got beautiful vertical strips on the tailgate and single bullet-shaped taillights on the outboard edges. The beautiful two-tone interior wears the exact same plastic seat covers your grandmother used in her living room. Too cool! The look is a wink and a smile to '50s suburbia, and the fabric underneath is in excellent condition with only minor signs of use and age, so perhaps there's something to those covers after all. Correct carpets, flashy door panels that are undoubtedly newer, and the same glorious dashboard that all 1958 Chevys carried make it a great place to spend some time. The carpets are protected by color-matched floor mats and you'll note that the two-tone paint extends into the door jambs, a sure sign of quality work. There are no modern upgrades inside, and even the original AM radio is still in the dash. The cargo bay is truly massive, wearing correct carpets that don't look like they've hauled anything dirty or sharp, well, ever. This is a seriously nice car. Chevy's top engine in 1958 was the 348 cubic inch V8, and you're going to need that muscle to move this heavy cruiser. Accurately restored and highly detailed, the engine bay looks better than new, highlighting the distinctive 348 valve covers with traditional Chevy Orange paint. A correct air cleaner up top, reproduction hoses and tower clamps, and even a factory generator/power steering unit make this a show-worthy engine bay. It starts easily with a great V8 burble from the twin exhaust pipes, and thanks to a new 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, it's a superlative highway cruiser that's ideal for family road trips. The chassis is entirely original and shows no major issues, and you'll have to agree that this is one well-preserved Chevy. The finishing touch is a set of reproduction bias-ply wide whites on original wheels with spinner hubcaps. If you're into wagons, this is a spectacular, rare find that neatly combines show-quality restored pieces with very nicely preserved originals. A very impressive car all around.
