Up for sale is my 1972 Monte Carlo equipped with a complete matching number 402 ci engine matched to a rebuilt TH400 tranny. Of the 180,000 Monte Carlos produced in 1972, aprox. 5% were equipped with the 402 engine. This Monte replaced the discontinued Monte SS of 1970 and 1971. Recent quality two stage paint, color is Mohave gold, vinyl roof, chrome bumpers,front and rear, along with newer Firestone firehawk tires. Interior has new headliner. Car is factory equipped with power windows, power door locks, factory dual exhaust, rally wheels,and air conditioning. Car has only 86k original miles. Recent brakes, radiator, and water pump. Undercarriage is in exceptional condition with rust free floors, frame, and trunk floors. Original jack assembly still secured in trunk Original owners manuals and dealer protecto-plate still in glove box. Car runs and drives excellent.
