very clean reliable car for age and miles are most highway great car. tires ,drums, shoes, rotors, pads, muffler, brake lines from front to rear, fuel tank and fuel filler tube, egr valve, all 1 year old all fluids changed including transmission fluid and filter ice cold a/c very well maint ha snot been in winter for 3 years vehicle is bought as is no returns so read description and view pictures carefully

The motor and transmission are strong. The back driver side has rust and the axle on the same side needs repair. It has been temporarily fixed but still needs final repairs with replacement parts. It starts great and will run but because of the temporary repairs I don't recommend doing so until full repairs are completed. I have not driven it over 20 miles per hour since the temporary have been made. It would recommend it to be hauled when taken away. The front tires are about 18 months old and in good shape. The rear tires are in fair shape. There is some rust on it the worst is pictured. Like most Chevy's from this time frame some of the paint is peeling of especially on the trunk. I bought this from a one owner 4 years ago and never had a bit of trouble until the drivers side rear axle problem. It has just been sitting there for 2 weeks. I go out and start it and move it every couple of days. The motor and transmission are just to good to take it to salvage. I hope someone has a need for it. I accept cash or cashiers check. I have a clear title for it. I am open to reasonable offers. If you need a good motor and transmission this is it or it is still fixable with the right parts and talent.

This is a beautiful, low mileage non smoker Lumina LS in excellent condition. There are no issues with this car. ( My cars never have issues, my wife and I drive every one and make sure everything is working properly ) The interior including the factory floor mats show no sign of wear. I don't think the spare or jack were ever used. The brakes, exhaust etc. have been checked out. The engine and transmission run very smoothly as you would expect from a car with only 39,000 + miles. It has a current Massachusetts emissions and safety sticker. Please check out my ME page. If you are looking in this price range, I don't think you will find a nicer one anywhere, ebay or otherwise. If possible, take this car for a test ride. Why buy from us? Because we are under no pressure to buy and sell cars. ( I only sell cars on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer, is for a car like this one. No exceptions.) I don't buy trade-ins or cars people and dealers are trying to get rid of. My cars must be in excellent condition and have less than 80,000 miles. They also have to sell for under $5000.00. If in a given week I don't find a car that meets my standards, I don't buy. So, although my cars never sell "cheap", they are priced fair and you won't have to spend any money on them when you receive them. Too many people use the internet to dump cars. This is very obvious to someone like myself who is licensed by the state and has over 40 years experience. So, that being said, this is a very solid car, with a dependable reputation. We are selling our 1997 Chevy Lumina that includes 4 mounted and studded winter tires. The summer tires are currently on the car. This runs good and is a comfortable ride. My wife used this car for her transportation to work and we kept up on the maintenance and fixed anything that was wrong. Recently had the fuel tank replaced because it tripped the check engine light. The original engine blew a head gasket, and we put a used engine in with 70,000 miles on it, and insisted the shop replace the head gasket on the new engine before it went in. That was about 9,000 miles ago. Point is, we have done everything mechanical that has needed to be done. So you are buying a good reliable ride. We are listing this as good condition because we have kept up the mechanical, but the body has rust, so if they had a condition for the body, we would put fair. See photos to see rust. Has PA inspection till 12/2015. In the process, the mechanic noted the water pump is leaking. On parts Geek dot com, you can find one for between 15 and 40 bucks. If I replace it, I'll have to up the sales price by 200 bucks. Buy this car NOW and take advantage of 14 months of PA inspection! We're selling because we bought her a 4wd.
