1965 Impala Super Sport. Real SS 396 car. Now has 454 bored 30 over (460) Cid. 10.1 compression so it runs good on pump gas. 598 lift hyd cam, ported oval port heads. Edelbrock Air gap intake. Complete Mallory ignition. Turbo 400 trans with reverse manual valve body and 3000 3500 stall converter. 373 posi 12 bolt. All new guts. Hooker headers with 3 inch exhaust to rear end. Disc brake conversion in front. All brake lines done in stainless. Had entire undercarriage sand blasted and used GM resto black paint. Took body off of frame to complete and replaced all body bushings. Front suspension, intake, valve covers and misc brackets powder coated. New gas tank,sending unit, and lines. All new shocks, springs & suspension. Heavy duty front & rear sway bars. Front & rear bumper re-chromed. All other trim either NOS or polished. New weather stripping threw out. New windshield. Redone interior. I can honestly say that I had complete car apart. Entire engine and compartment has stainless hardware. Painted the original color Evening Orchard and added violet pearl in the clear. Painted 6 years ago. Multiple trophy show car winner at the Corvette and Muscle car nationals and World of Wheels.
