1966 CHEVY "SS" 427 4 SPD CONVERTIBLE! Professional body-off nut & bolt restoration of a rust free central California car. Period correct 427 4 speed with factory AC, power windows , very rare tilt and telescope steering column. Consol with gauge package. Paint code is "E"- Danube Blue ( dark metalic), black interior and excellent fitting black top. Top end of engine has proper date codes. Short block was replaced in 1967. ( 390 HP ). Fully rebuilt using forged pistons and fully balanced. All parts top of the line with very high quality machine work. Transmission is the Muncie wide ratio (254:1 1st gear) and is fresh ( new bearings, gaskets and seals. Final drive was origially 3.31 ratio. It is now 3.42. Original ratio not available . Unit has been fully rebuilt and is a non-posi. Other options include 15" X 8" Corvette Rallye wheels and authentic Corvette air cleaner. Original wheel covers and air cleaner are included. The car now has 400+ break-in miles on it and runs and handles beautifully. Note: I am listing this car for a very long time friend ( 39 years ) and professional car restorer who has compleated over 20+ 1939-64 Cadillacs to major award winning standards. Here we have a 1959 chevy Biscayne 2 door. This car started its life in Oklahoma and then found its way to sunny Tucson, AZ. Installed is a 327 that has a fresh mild cam and new lifters installed. Ignition is a MSD distributor and MSD 6 ignition box. Edlebrock performer intake and fresh Edlebrock carb.All mated to a turbo350 auto tranny. New gas tank and fuel sender. Interior is stripped out but is all present including the front and rear seats. Car will require a new windshield. The floors were cut out due to windows being left open. Replacement floor panels were hand made and rolled and are with the sale. There is also a spare trunk section cut from another impala. Title is clear and in my name.Will hold the car for up to 90 days upon full payment. Can transport the car up to 30 miles to meet a transport truck for free. Cash, check or bank transfer.

Paint and bodywork is very nice , fully sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. Door hood and trunk gaps are very good. EVERY piece of chrome and stainless was refinished to show quality.
