Up for sale here is a very nice rare 1962 Impala Factory 4-speed car. If you want to do a car that doesn't need a lot of bodywork than this is for you. The old paint needs to be stripped off. The fenders are spotless, the doors have no rot on the seams or corners. The floor and rockers also are in great shape. The car has all original SS trim and grab bar. I also believe all the glass and stainless is the original. Not perfect but very nice. The interior has the original front buckets and rear seat. The rear seat is a bit sun blistered on the top. Sun visors are new. The headliner and carpet are in very presentable. The engine is a low miles small block. Very strong. The last owner put thousands into the mechanics of this car. Flow master exhaust system. Brakes are original drum. The trans is original Saginaw. Fresh clutch when he did the motor. I have hardly used the car for over 10 years. It needs the bottom of the trunk pan replaced. The part is just aver $100. I removed the gas tank ti have the pan fixed but never bought the pan. I can reinstall the tank if you prefer. It drives very well. If you prefer stock rims I can swap the Keystones out for you. It has a later 4-speed consol in it also. I have been collecting old cars for decades and it is time to try and let a couple dozen go. I come from the East coast and don't have rusted cars. Please call if serious. Up for sale here is a super straight 1962 Impala Super Sport with a factory 4-speed. I am forced to sell this and dozens of other classics some of which I have had for decades. This car has a super straight California body. Rock solid fenders doors 1/4 panels, spotless rockers roof and floors. The trunk lid is also rot free. The inside trunk pan has 2 holes and the hood had a repair on the front years ago. Take a close look. I removed the bumper and inner fenders years ago when I wanted to strip the car to the metal and do the paint. I will get detailed pics to show you anything you would like to see. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer body to start with. Looks like the front end was replaces years ago. I will re-install the perfect inner fenders or put them in the trunk along with the original bolts and mounting clips. I wanted to show how clean the fenders were without covering up the inside. No rot or repair work ever that I can see. All original glass and all the SS trim is excellent original. The red seats are also original. I am having the new headliner finished up. With the original star pattern. Carpet is also new. I have a 63 SS console that can go with it or the original rear console. I don't have the front Stick console. It has the grab bar. No power options. It had a built small block in it when I bought it. Low low miles. I will get the casting numbers. You can get the Keystone wheels or stock 14's, I don't have all the original caps. The car runs strong. I am going to try and flush the tank. No problem running a temporary fuel source. I will do what I can physically and will have any work done that I can.
