The Impala has a 348, 3 Deuce engine, original 3 on the tree, but now has a Muncie 4 Speed. Engine # 3755011, A-1259, TI22G, intake # 3749948 GM-2, L2160. Attached you will see 130 images of the car and parts, I have an original Air Cleaner, 2 original AC Delco Air Filters, one in original box. I saved many original parts, including the Generator- Power Steering combo, Brakes, Brackets, etc. I do not have a Cross Member, or shifter, and the Bell housing in not for a 348. I am missing one of the trim pieces that sets on the end of the front fender (looks like a plane) other than that I believe all trim is present, about 30% of it has been polished and straightened. Bumpers have been re chromed, the frame, rear end housing, rear upper and lower trailing arms, all bumper brackets, hood latches, and A arms have been media blasted and powdered coated black. Rear end has all new seals, complete new floorpans, spare tire well, both quarters have been replaced, front fenders need a few holes where the mirrors were previously mounted. The rest of the car is ready for final flat board, the original core support was rusty on the bottom, we made a new one out of two, but it still needs finished. The front suspension is all new, is fitted with new 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, new brake hoses, brake lines, new drop spindles, and lowering springs in rear. Switched the car over to modern power steering and gearbox, new gas tank straps, and sending unit. Serious inquiries only! Please call me to discuss. This is a highly optioned, highly detailed, show quality, numbers-matching, frame-off restored Impala Super Sport. It wears desirable (and correct for this car) "916" code Daytona Blue Poly paint, with factory medium blue bucket/console interior. You will be hard-pressed to find a nicer, more highly optioned Impala SS in this price range. Everything on this car is either new, or restored back to new. It comes with 2 sets of wheels--the 17x8 & 17x9 American Racing deep inset chrome 5-spokes with Nitto Z-rated tires (less than 50 miles on them), as well as a complete set of 5 color-keyed steel wheels, white wall radials, and gorgeous Super Sport wheel covers. This car is loaded with factory options, including 4 speed transmission, A/C, power steering, power brakes, RARE tilt wheel, tinted glass all around, padded dash, and deluxe seat belts. It has the original factory dash-mounted tach in good working order. Power comes from the numbers-matching 327/300hp V8. The car starts, idles, and runs & drives very well, and shifts through all 4 gears with ease. Lights, turn signals, wipers, and horn all work as they should. Little things like proper spare, jack, and glass windshield washer bottle are in place. Paint and body are in outstanding condition, as the pics will attest. All body panels appear to be originals, including the quarters, floors, and trunk pan. All chrome and stainless trim is new or excellent/restored original, including both bumpers and polished aluminum inserts. Floors, frame, and trunk are all super solid throughout the car. Engine compartment is restored to factory showroom new. Factory original style exhaust is like new. Interior is as close to showroom new as you'll find. Every piece is new or restored from headliner to carpet. Upholstery is mint, and a set of modern-style seat belts replace the originals. Comes with a complete set of "Impala" logo black floor mats (not pictured). Doors, hood, and trunk all open and close beautifully. The swirled body side molding is perfect, with no ugly dents, dings, or other noticeable flaws. All windows are in good shape and roll up and down just as they should. Unlike most others selling classics on ebay, we try to inform you of a car's flaws, regardless of how minor. It's the right thing to do, and gives you the piece of mind knowing you aren't being sold one thing, and then receiving something materially different. Keep in mind all classic cars have flaws, no matter how nice or expensive they are. Also remember we may not be aware of every possible issue, so a personal inspection is highly suggested. The AC is currently not working, but appears complete. The radio also is inop. There is a small "sometimes" leak where the driveshaft meets the rear differential--Sometimes it drips a bit, other times it doesn't. It probably just needs to be driven more, as the car was restored by the previous owner several years ago and only had a few hundred miles put on it since then. We can have the occasionally offending seal replaced prior to delivery for nominal additional cost if so desired. There is a pencil-eraser sized paint flaw (not chip) on the hood, and a small flaw (not chips) on the forward edge of each door--all are minor and unnoticeable from more than a couple feet away. You can feel confident this numbers-matching Impala SS is a "what you see is what you get" kind of car. It has many desirable options, and a 4 speed with excellent colors, paint, body, and interior. I doubt you'll find another that is this nice, with these options for less money. Ready for shows, cruise nights, and taking the kids/grandkids/friends/family or nosy neighbors out for a drive back in time. This is an 1965 2 door Chevy Impala, runs and drives. I replaced old fuel tank, with brand new zinc coated fuel tank, and ran 3/8" braided fuel line the distance of the car, from tank to brand new fuel pump. Ran new hard 5/16" hard fuel line from fuel pump to newly rebuilt original 2 barrel carburator. I made the oil filter conversion to accept screw on modern filters instead of the old metal canister type. I ran 3/8" fuel line in case I wanted to change the manifold and carb to four barrel, it would be ready. I changed out the trans seal, and it shifts now, might need a pan gasket, leaks a little oil here and there, put brand new starter and plugs and wires and cap and rotor, you don't need to even be in the car to start it, fires right up. It does have an upgraded aluminum radiator. The power steering pulley is starting to make noise, it probably needs to be replaced, but on 50 year old cars, you just keep going until you get everything remedied, everything drys up, and they start revealing themselves. I do know it needs a headlight switch, wiper arms, they move when you turn them on, so they work, radio doesn't work, not sure of the heater motor, I know the rear brake lights work and rear blinkers work.
