1965 Chevy Impala Super Sport Matching Numbers. V.I.N. 16637Fxxxxx3, Engine F0706GF, Trans. C0701D, Axle DB701C, Trim 815, 06D (4th week of June), Protect-O Plate, Dealer Stamp and Original owner's manual. The car is code RR Regal Red with a 815 Black interior. Drive train is a 283/powerglide. Power steering, single circuit manual drum brakes, heater, wipers and after market AM/FM radio. All equipment works nicely. All glass is very good to excellent condition. Chrome is good to excellent. Trim "callouts" are good originals. The paint is very good to excellent. A little orange peel here and there. The paint is representative of a car from the era. Shiny but not mirror. I'm not a paint expert but believe you could sand it out if you wanted to. The engine has some "day 2" upgrades. A weiland intake, Carter carburetor and open air element were added. The previous owner installed glass packs but I have installed a nice set of flowmasters recently. The wheels retain their 14 inch size but are American Racing with Firestone Firehawk tires. The interior is original and beautiful. The engine bay was cleaned and painted and includes a repro. radiator tag and "Opti-Clean" bottle for shows. The previous owner left the trunk in "as is" condition. The rest of the car was just too nice to have an old trunk. I installed a new floor pan and cleaned the rest. Where there was factory spatter paint I kept it for originality. I also installed a new fuel tank, sending unit, straps, anti squeak, shocks and brakes. To the best of my ability, I left as much original on the car as there was. The car runs great. Starts instantly when cold and drives, steers and stops as a mid 60's car should. This is a very comfortable ride. This is my first Impala but won't be my last. I really like the fast back look. I have several other cars. Two of which are also numbers matching. One is Totally original. Need to make some room. I enjoy the the original/numbers cars a lot. I think whoever gets this one is going to enjoy it too. I'm always improving my cars and am looking for a correct jack for this one as well as a spare. When you pick it up maybe I'll have these items as well. I would like to emphasize I am a car guy not a dealer. I like to buy them, drive them, fix them and unfortunately due to space and money have to sell one occasionally to keep the addiction fed. As mentioned earlier in the ad, all the documentation is in the photo section of the ad. These documents and imprints go to the new owner and are available for inspection. 2 1960 CHEVYS FOR 1 BID This auction is for 2 1960 Chevy's. One is a wagon and the other is a 4 door Belair. The intentions were to use the 4 door as a parts car but it is a very buildable car, so that will be up to the next owner. The wagon is an ambitious build but is not the worst I have seen. All the glass is included with the wagon except for the windshield. There is also bundles of trim, exterior and interior, all gauges, grill, front and rear bumpers plus more. It will need floors from front to back. Drivers quarter will need replaced. Firewall is nice as is the cowl areas upper and lower. The 4 door is as you see it. There are no seats in the 4 door and will need the back seat bottom only in the wagon. Trunk floor in the 4 door looks good and both frames look to be good as well. The wagon was a v8 car and had a factory padded dash and power steering as some of the options. Most of the trim pieces and interior items for the wagon are pictured inside the 4 door. The glass as mentioned is present but not pictured. Up for auction here is a rare 1994 CALLAWAY Impala SS. It is only one of 6 cars made in 94 by the CALLAWAY group. The authenticity of the car can be verified through Callaway Cars. This is definitely one of the cleanest Impalas I have seen and it’s obvious that it has been well taken care of. I will start off with describing the history of the car. In 1994 this Impala was taken directly to CALLAWAY CARS in Old Lyme Connecticut where it received its transformation. This car was made for Mark Callaway, the cousin of Reeves Callaway, the owner of CALLAWAY CARS. It had three different packages installed. The packages included: C9001 Callaway SuperNatural 400/383 Impala SS Engine Package, C9412 Callaway/Brembo SS Brake Package, and C9802 Callaway SS Engineered Handling Package. In 1994 the car was $24,405 brand new. The CALLAWAY packages were an additional $25,345, making this a $49,750 vehicle! I will attach a few links at the bottom of the description so you can get more specific details on the packages and what all was included. In 1997 the car was sold and exported to Japan where it sat in a gentlemen's collection for 10 years. It was then sold in 2007 to a collector in California where it passed all emissions tests there. The car was then bought in 2011 from a man in Iowa. I purchased the car in 2013. When it was brought back into the US in 2007 it only had 32,380 and has rarely been driven since then. All fluids in the car have been changed regularly to keep them fresh. The engine is the showpiece of this car, it puts out 400hp. This is a big improvement from the stock 260hp these cars came with. I won’t go into too much detail about all that has been done to the engine. If you would like more information on this, just click on the links at the bottom. The transmission is also modified for the additional horsepower. This includes a manual shift kit and computer reprogramming for adjusted shift points. The air intake is a CALLAWAY exclusive called their Honker system. It grabs the cold air from below the car and has a nice performance sound to it. The exhaust is also a CALLAWAY exclusive that is completely stainless steel. The sound of this car is amazing! It has a real aggressive tone when you accelerate, but at cruising speeds it mellows out without the annoying drone of most aftermarket exhaust systems. All fluids were changed a couple months ago and have synthetic in the engine and transmission. The radiator was flushed, the a/c was checked, and all is up to specs. The outside of the car is in great shape. The modifications were done by a professional shop and include: the car was completely wet sanded and buffed to a show car shine that took over 30 hours; the windows were tinted 20% with the exception of the windshield; the chrome trim around the windows was blacked out for a more sleek appearance; chrome 383 cross flag emblems were installed with double sided tape on the fenders and can be easily removed if you choose; the headlights are a new non-fluted design, which provides an updated look to the front of the car; the tail lights have about 20 hours of work done to them (they are 90-91 Caprice lights that have had the chrome strip removed, smoothed, and then smoked to blend into the car); the wheels are Eagle Alloy 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear ( the wheels and tires are near new), perfect fit for the car. The interior is very clean and smoke free. All of the speakers have been replaced with Cerwin Vega units. The seats are in excellent shape and were taken to an upholstery professional who kept the stock material, except for the center pleats. They were removed and black leather was installed. This really improved the appearance of the interior of the car. The interior carpeting is brand new. This car needs absolutely nothing at all, just get in and drive! I tried to find any record of a CALLAWAY Impala being sold recently and found nothing. I searched the web for a couple months and couldn't find anyone that owns another one.
