We purchased this car in 1998. We did a complete frame off rotisserie restoration right after we purchased it. It has been very well taken care of since and driven occasionally on nice days. We entered it in a couple of car shows and placed 3rd in the Chevy class of the Stan Hywett car show in Akron, Ohio. We are uncertain of the mileage. It shows 9,000 miles on the odometer. We are guessing that it has 109,000 miles. The engine is a 348 but is not the original. It has the 3 speed Powerglide transmission and we do have the original 2 speed on a shelf. We also have the fender skirts but they haven't been restored. The chrome was sent out and restored. Frame was sandblasted and restored. The interior was restored and looks great.

Mileage 59,734 YouTube videoTitle of video: 1964 Impala 2 door 561 History - Born in Los Angles, California, lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and retired to Palm Beach, Florida. My brother found the car eleven years ago in Albuquerque, NM. It was a solid unrestored original car in daily driver condition with NO RUST! He couldn’t pass the deal up. After spending a few hours in the parking lot of an auto parts store addressing some tune-up items, he hit the road for Florida. The trip took two days, the only issue being a flat tire. The Impala became his daily driver for the next four years until he decided it was time to take it to the next level. Over the next few years the entire car underwent a major restoration: paint and body, wiring, motor, trans, rear end, interior. As the car was nearing completion, he moved to Oregon for work. I had always loved the 64 Impala; especially with the Sport Coupe trim and a healthy V-8. So naturally, we worked out a deal and I completed the project . I have owned her for about Four years and have driven to a few local shows as well as the Daytona Turkey Rod Run. However, I don’t drive the car very much and with the 60 wagon, 39 & 72 Chevy pickup projects in the works, I could use the garage space. It's been an awesome ride, but it's time to move on. Drivetrain: Original numbers matching motor. 283 V-8 Smooth running sweet lil motor. Very reliable & sounds great! Block casting # 3849852. Head casting # 3795896. The motor was gone through, compression checked, valve job & mild cam installed. Four barrel Edelbrock carb, 1966 327 Corvette intake manifold #3872783. New & improved harmonic balancer ( In 64 the balancer was a factory press fit. This worked fine, but after 50 years it began to fail, so instead of just pounding a new one on and hoping for the best, the crank was VERY CAREFULLY drilled & tapped to accommodate a balancer bolt. As GM did on the 350. ) New Mallory electronic ignition & coil (installed last weekend). New alternator. New battery (7/16). New wiring engine harness. Temp, Oil & Volts gauges under the dash. New aluminum radiator ( built to stock specs ) painted with gloss black radiator paint, ( temp never goes over 180 degrees, even on the hottest FL day ) shroud & fan sandblasted and painted with 2K Eastwood satin black. New water pump. New Rubber engine bay flaps over suspension. Engine mounts replaced. Exhaust manifolds sandblasted & painted (Eastwood high temp manifold paint), New 2'' dual exhaust, glass pack mufflers with stainless steel tips (great old school sound.) The original 2 speed powerglide was replaced with a New TCI 3 speed turbo 350 with shift kit, shifts smooth while cruising, but chirps 2nd gear when floored. ( needs speedo cable gear, speedometer reads higher than actual speed, cheap fix ) Universal joints & carrier bearing replaced. Rear end rebuilt to stock. Rear air shocks. Front drum brakes rebuilt last month ( stops straight, does not pull to either side ) Rear brakes work fine but driver side wheel cylinder leaks. Stock rebuilt power steering. Rebuilt front end, drives straight. Original air cleaner (painted Eastwood gloss black), 2 barrel carburetor & intake manifold come with the car. A four barrel air cleaner base plate is also included. This allows the original air cleaner to be installed on a period correct four barrel carburetor. Exterior: Paint & body was all done professionally. Base coat clear coat gloss black paint ( body was taken down to bare metal ). The only rust to repair was the passenger side floor pan, a new pan was welded in ( this was caused by a leaking windshield while being used as daily driver in FL ) The front fender emblem was shaved to give a clean look ( the original emblems come with the car ) The antenna was shaved for a clean look. One piece smoothie bumpers with shaved bumper bolts, bumper supports sandblasted and painted Eastwood chassis black ( original bumpers come with the car, daily driver condition, shown in photos ). Rear fender skirts. New Front & rear windshields installed. New side widow glass comes with the car, there was no need to install, as the original glass was in excellent condition ( bought the glass kit ). All weather stripping replaced. Frame & floor boards painted with Eastwood chassis black. Eastwood zinc phosphate internal frame coating was sprayed in the doors, body, frame, fenders and every possible crevice. Wheel wells painted, and Eastwood undercoated. New Blinkers & headlight buckets restored. New wiper blades, but needs wiper motor. New 14'' x 7'' Coker steel wheels, Coker Classic white wall tires and original hubcaps. Good full size spare in trunk. Interior: New OEM interior from Ciadella interiors was professionally installed. The floor, back deck & trunk was sprayed with 2K epoxy bed liner ( for sound deadening & rust prevention ) Original style spatter paint in trunk & satin cleared over. Insulation and new carpet was installed. New OEM rubber floor mats. Seats re-foamed & recovered. New visors, dash pad, glove box, door panels, headliner with the original star pattern. New interior lights & wiring. Original steering wheel restored & two tone base coat clear coat, gloss black & ivory white. Speaker wire run for 4 speakers, but does not have radio ( was planning on running Modern radio with stock look ) Issues: . There are a few minor cracks in the paint on the lower fender behind the passenger side rear wheel. There is a bubble in paint on the passenger side top of the body. This must have been from a chemical reaction, as the bubble appeared immediately after the car was painted (shown in YouTube video walk around). Sadly the paint shop refused to take responsibility for these issues. Horn is not working. Get what you really wanted for Christmas! I have a clear Florida title in hand. I am selling my beautiful 1960 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top Coupe. It has been tastefully resto-modded to bring it into the modern times for it to look and feel like a true custom hotrod with some of the best components and quality accessories. The original 283 was gone through and runs good, as does the transmission. The Sinister Black paint looks great with the Red Impala Stripe that accents the brakes and the interior. The chrome and stainless trim are in very nice shape with normal wear. The interior is mint, and looks amazing. Custom upholstered seats, custom stitched door panels and headliner, and custom carpet all come together in a Vibrant Red. The trunk is also custom upholstered to match the color scheme in black and red. The brakes are a WILWOOD Full Floating Rotor Disc Brake Setup on all 4 corners. The wheels are chrome and staggered, 20x10 in the rear (for a big lip) and 18x8 in the front with new tires all around. The suspension was lowered on coil springs for better handling, but mostly for great looks and that perfect stance. It's a great looking car with all the right features and gets insane amounts of attention wherever I go. it isn't museum quality or but above average driver. 1963 Impala 2Dr Hdtp Small block 327, auto (Powerglide), Cragar wheels and TA Radial tires, white leather interior, runs and drives great, over 37k invested in this impala. My friend recently passed away and this car has been his project for the last 10 years while he battled throat and lung cancer. ALL restoration work on this car was done at local shops here in Vancouver Washington. The glass all appears to be original. The dash is original except for color of paint. The interior has been done in white leather seats with gray and black inserts displaying the Impala Logo. Black carpets and Gray headliner complete the interior. It has aftermarket remote control disc player mounted inside glove compartment. Under the hood there is a 327hp V8, with powerglide transmission (both) completely rebuilt. Flow master exhaust and 4 wheel disc brakes. ALL brake lines, gas lines, wiring, etc., has been replaced. This car has been driven less than 300 miles since engine rebuild. I will take as many pics as I can for you to see the condition of everything. These are things I noticed: Small chips in paint, both inside and outside. The speedometer, clock, and one turn signal indicator on dash does not work. There is no spare tire or jack. I am NOT a car expert and am helping this family sell this so they can meet other financial obligations they now have. I have a clear title in my name. Up for sale here is a super straight 1962 Impala Super Sport with a factory 4-speed. I am forced to sell this and dozens of other classics some of which I have had for decades. This car has a super straight California body. Rock solid fenders doors 1/4 panels, spotless rockers roof and floors. The trunk lid is also rot free. The inside trunk pan has 2 holes and the hood had a repair on the front years ago. Take a close look. I removed the bumper and inner fenders years ago when I wanted to strip the car to the metal and do the paint. I will get detailed pics to show you anything you would like to see. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer body to start with. Looks like the front end was replaces years ago. I will re-install the perfect inner fenders or put them in the trunk along with the original bolts and mounting clips. I wanted to show how clean the fenders were without covering up the inside. No rot or repair work ever that I can see. All original glass and all the SS trim is excellent original. The red seats are also original. I am having the new headliner finished up. With the original star pattern. Carpet is also new. I have a 63 SS console that can go with it or the original rear console. I don't have the front Stick console. It has the grab bar. No power options. It had a built small block in it when I bought it. Low low miles. I will get the casting numbers. You can get the Keystone wheels or stock 14's, I don't have all the original caps. The car runs strong. I am going to try and flush the tank. No problem running a temporary fuel source. I will do what I can physically and will have any work done that I can. This is a 1959 Impala convertible that was wrecked in 1967-68 and left in a pasture. Cows would would lay next to the car on the passenger side and push dirt up against it and caused the passenger quarter and door to rust heavily as seen in the pics. The rear passenger side of the frame is also rusted pretty good. this was an early production car one of the first 2000 made with the rare color of Cameo Coral with grey interior. Other options would be the Mae West bumper, power steering and power bakes. What is in the pictures is what you get. The cowl tag is off the car as not to be stolen while in storage the Vin tag is still on the car unmolested. I do not have a title, I had to make a selection to list the car on ebay and picked flood, water damage, it will be sold with a notarized bill of sale.
