1978 Chevrolet G20 3/4 ton van. Original owner. 126,441 miles. 350 V8. Auto-350 rebuilt. Power steering, power brakes, power windows/door locks. American Outlaw wheels, BF Goodrich tires, Cibie driving lights. This vehicle was originally purchased in 1978 to use as a delivery van for my business. It became my personal vehicle in 1984 and was used exclusively to carry a motorcycle and has been garage kept ever since. In 2005, the body was completely restored and painted, using no plastic; a new custom interior was installed along with heated custom leather adjustable seats. VDO white face gauges, dual batteries, running boards, updated mirrors from 1992 GM vans. In the early 90's I installed a stereo system: Kenwood head piece - Nakamichi amps, powering subwoofers in custom designed boxes to spec; two sets of mid-range speakers, and two tweeters in the front doors. It is an exceptional sound that is crystal clear. I also installed aircraft insulation on the walls and ceiling of the van for better acoustics. In the mid 90's, at 100,000 miles, I installed a new 350 cu. in. motor, a high riser manifold with an Edelbrock carburetor, and a high output distributor, stainless steel headers, and dual exhaust, new positraction differential, ratio 3•21, removing the stock 2•73 ratio differential. The new motor has 26,441 miles, and the total mileage is 126,441. The van is in excellent condition. Everything is in proper working order and is unique in every way. Over $30,000- invested in the vehicle.
