Straight, steel California car with no rust and professionally built by Dave Zent and Bill Patrino at D&M in Tucson, starting with a fresh LS-5 454 engine, bored .030 over, balanced and blueprinted, Brodix Race-Rite aluminum heads, Lunati roller cam, Mahle pistons at roughly 10.8 compression, Cometic gaskets, Edelbrock Intake, MSD 6AL, 9 mm wires with Mallory ignition at 6400 rpm red line, ARP bolts and studs, Hitachi starter, aluminum coated Hooker headers with QuickTime Performance electric cutouts, March brackets and pulleys, Holly fuel pump and Ultra Street Avenger carb, Trick Flow stainless overflow system into the frame, Lokar & Moroso locking sticks (NHRA approved), Hotchkis Suspension including sway bars, trailing arms, etc., Ron Davis Racing products radiator (NASCAR style) with twin 17 inch Spal fans pulling 3700+ cubic feet of air per minutes, 700R4 State II 4-speed automatic transmission built by Aztec Transmissions (includes Hughes sprag, pump, racing clutches, and 3000 rpm stall converter), B&M Quicksilver shifter and B&M Street Rod Transmission Supercooler, Flowmaster custom exhaust, Brute Force universal joints, new Eaton 3rd member, new Richmond/Sierra axles and gears, complete Dakota Digital dash with Cruise control, compass, outside temp gauges added, new dash, dash panel, knobs, ashtray--everything!; Line-X bed, Classic Auto Air 134a Air Conditioning, LED taillights and Xenon headlights; fresh window tinting (dark), Billet Aluminum power windows and illuminated switches, custom installed Sony X-Plod HD stereo with 6 speakers, automatic headlights, remote door locks, Wilwood Pro-Series 4-wheel disc brakes with 12.18" rotors (drilled, slotted, zinc coated, powder coated calipers to match the paint), Earls and Russell braided lines; complete new interior and carpeting with Corbeau racing seats in black leather and micro suede with red 4-point Corbeau racing harnesses; new door and hood hinges, power radio antenna, NASA-style heat shielding....and a whole lot more; car just received a touch up but do not expect a perfect paint job--it has minor flaws and cracks but no dents. This car was built to USE and have fun; I didn't want a trailer queen or a race car. It is mechanically excellent and a load of fun. Horsepower? Don't know, but very reasonable guess is 650-700 hp. Street tires are 275/40/R18 Continental extreme Contact ($950 for the pair) and they won't hook up! But if you feather the throttle, the car will still do 060 in 5.0 (Dakota Dash has all kinds of timers, etc.). These are just the highlights, believe it or not. I have almost $80,000 into this car and if you are the purchaser, you'll get a large box of receipts to prove it (along with parts and service manuals, and other extras). This car has NOT been abused at all--I am 70 years old and quit abusing machinery a long, long time ago! It gets poor gas mileage, scares the birds, and rattles the minds of people who think they have a fast car. If you would like more information, I can e-mail a single spaced 4 page list of all that has been done to the car. I am listing this car on multiple sites: first person with the full asking price gets it. Otherwise, highest bidder by October 1 who is over my reserve will take it. NO TRADES--CASH ONLY. I will be happy to answer questions. (This car was sold on E-Bay previously but the buyer encountered serious health problems and had to back out.)
