1971 Chevrolet El Camino SS 454 This car has been fully restored from the  ground up. It has new interior, fresh paint, new tires,  original wheels, new wiring harness, and the motor has been rebuilt  with a mild cam. It really sounds awesome and runs great,  estimated at about 500HP. The AC is done by Vintage Air, uses  R134a and blows cold. The motor pulls air in from the functional Cowl Induction hood.   At an idle, the vent is closed, but opens under higher throttle.   The Weiand Action Plus aluminum intake is a nice upgrade over stock  to help feed the 454 big block, and the Hooker Competition headers  flow down to a 3" collector. After the header, the exhaust is  2.5" with an H-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. The Turbo 400 automatic transmission has been rebuilt and transfers  all that power to the rear wheels through a 12-bolt posi trac rear  end with 3.23 gears. The rear suspension was also upgraded  with QA1 Anti-Hop & Traction Bars with a sway bar. The ignition is controlled by an MSD Digital 6A & MSD Blaster SS  coil.
