I have a 1986 Chevrolet El Camino for sale. I was in the middle of this project when other things came up, my loss , your gain. I bought this with the original V6 needing to be replaced or rebuilt, it came with a 1988 V6 out of a Chevy Step side Pick up with only 63,000 original miles. I heard the engine run before it was pulled from the truck, it sounded great. This is an automatic, with dual exhaust. I did most of the body work, it will need very little to finish the body, the inside of the bed has dings and dongs that will need to be filled. The underside is in really good condition. I replaced the doors, and the rear tailgate, the original ones had the typical rot on the bottom lip. So I have both the original and new engine, you will have to swap some things over, as well as maybe put a new starter and water pump while you're at it. Any question, please email.
