1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe coupe hot rod/street rod. 350 Chevy basic crate engine, 350 turbo transmission, 10 bolt GM rear end, Mustang II front end, power steering. Power brakes - disc front, drum rear. Aluminum radiator. Has a heater but no A/C. Appears to have a Jeep Cherokee tilt steering column, AM/FM/CD. This is an unfinished driver that can be finished your way or taken to the next level. It's not a high end show car, but it looks very good overall. Has a few rock chips, scratches and minor paint flaws, nothing major. Very straight all original steel body including fenders and running boards. Starts right up, runs and drives great. All lights and gauges work. There are a lot of pictures, look them over and ask any questions you might have. The previous owner (builder) was on the upholstery shop waiting list for new gray cloth inserts in the seats and a new headliner, but never came to the top of the list. So, there is no headliner installed but it's ready for one, and the seats still have a terrible looking cloth insert. It had all new glass, but the drivers door window has a crack. I just bought this car a few days ago (July 13th) with full intentions of finishing it and driving it, but as is always the case, I found the '37 I really wanted the next day. I can't have both, so this one has to go. Odometer shows 1130 miles. I've only driven it about 20 miles, so I can't tell you much about gas mileage and that sort of thing except what the previous owner told me. The paint is a dark green metallic base coat/clear coat, but I don't have the code. I'm sure I can get it. I don't know the rear end gear ratio, but I'll try to find that out, too. Feels like it's probably around 3 to 1. As for the other unfinished stuff, there are no seat belts and no windshield wipers installed yet. That's all that is needed for it to be a great daily driver or cruise-in car. There are no prop rods for the trunk. Comes with a stick. And there's no prop rods for the hood. Also comes with a stick.
