1978 Silver anniversary Corvette. 3 owners (as far as I know). Had the front and rear end rebuilt, seats recovered, new breaks (stainless steel). A small crack on the left front fender (the only exterior damage). Runs fine. Has been garage kept and listed as a historic vehicle. This car has never been in an accident. This is a gorgeous 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Silver Anniversary edition with extremely low mileage. Everything about this vehicle is original and numbers matching. Everything functions great, but the A/C needs a charge, but who needs it anyway when you have either set of T-Tops removed. That's right! Two sets of matching T-Tops, one tinted glass, and one silver fiberglass with original covers. This Vette has the upgraded L82 engine package and a three speed automatic transmission. Oyster leather interior and black dash board with the two-tone silver paint makes for a stunning combo. You get a lot of looks driving this car down the road. Never smoked in. This car has the rare CB Radio upgrade. My grandfather had a battery disconnect installed on the battery so in case someone breaks in, unless they check for it, they aren't going anywhere. All this vehicle needs is a good detail to clean it up a little. This car was my grandfather's and since his health was failing him for the last 2 years of his life, it was driven very little by myself and stored in the garage. He only ever took it out occasionally anyway. I am selling this vehicle on my father's behalf. We would really like this to go to someone who is going to enjoy it, as it has sat under appreciated for the last 2 years except for the occasional ride in nice weather and to be ran every week to keep the fluids circulated. Only premium gas has been run in it as recommended by Chevrolet. To my knowledge this car has never seen rain since my grandfather owned it. The under carriage is extremely clean. This car has almost all of the options that were available in 1978. The power windows work better than any car made today. Starts right up and idles beautifully. Comes with a newer Interstate battery. My grandfather paid $19,800 for this car when he purchased it approx 10-12 years ago. It is the buyers responsibility to have the vehicle shipped at the buyers cost if need be, or local pickup. I would prefer to go through escrow.com for payment and would split the cost with the buyer. Bank wire transfer will also work as well as cash in hand to be verified at local bank.
