This is a very nice 86 Corvette that I recently got on a trade. I'm told the miles are correct >23,000< The car runs and drives great and has new seat leather and cushions installed as well as a new top, mostly just due to the age of the car(they really weren't that bad but just wanted to make the car all it could be). The car also has an aftermarket exhaust(nearly new) that probably improves performance, and offers a little more rumble than stock(just a little)...... I would say the paint on the car is a 9+ unbelievable for it's age. It has the polished wheels and of course the correct Pace Car decals in place. An aftermarket new style radio(removable face, and remote control) was added sometime prior to me getting the car. Now for the last detail about the car...it looks crispy new, but does have an Iowa prior salvage title. Meaning the car had a little incident at one time and went thru an inspection process and passed that inspection, and is just like transferring any title. The story I got was that the car was a theft recovery quite a few years ago-you couldn't tell by looking anywhere. And with that said I am pricing the car reasonable and open to offers(reasonable I hope). I have two sets of original keys, an owners manual, and the car even has original floor mats.........There is no warranty offered with the car(I'm not a dealer)..........and the transporting of the car if the buyer chooses to transport will be at the buyers expense. I will be glad to show the car with notice, and answer all questions to the best of my ability. I'm a car guy-have been all my life, and will always be-thanks for viewing my auction.. **** A local buyer failed to get financed leading to me listing the car again-please have your finances in place when you bid=thanks!!***A new air cond. compressor was just installed and changed over to 134A Freon-ice cold now(compressor clutch was rattling) ********* My GF just reminded me that the rear view mirrors have some clear coat peeling..sorry I had forgotten that..........

A recent surgery has left me such that it is difficult for me to drive this car. ....The car has a new top(correct style canvas variety) a fresh wheel alignment, fluids changed, new fuel pump, and new tires(100 miles) ...Everything is in good operating condition with the exception of the air conditioning(needing a charge). The car runs and drives as new-The paint is mostly original with a partial repaint on a portion of the rear of the car due to some clear coat blistering(was well done per GM standards). This was done years ago on a warranty situation. The front of the car does have some paint chips and minor stress cracks...but still looks good from 5 feet. All paint on the car is super shiny as it has been protected all its life. The convert top and associated weather stripping is new and looks amazing. The interior-leather seats show very little wear and no cracks (unbelievably nice for a 28 year old car). The carpet in the car is also extra nice and original. The original floor mats are still in the car and nice. The car has no vibrations and shifts and drives great, and the overdrive works as it should. this is a very nice driver Corvette that is ready to be enjoyed care free........I will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge-you are welcome to view the Corvette with some advanced notice, and do a hands on inspection. The new owner shall be responsible for the transporting costs of the car if he or she wishes to have it transported(it would be more fun driving it home!). There is no warranty offered or implied as with all classic and sports cars of this age. thanks for looking...... as an afterthought I just remembered the car has new exhaust..........
