1969 Corvette Coupe, 427/400hp, 4 speed. This is a very original example. Before we go any further I have ran this auction two times, and have had many trade offers, I would consider 66-67 pro st. big tire Nova, 1969-1973 pro st. big tire camaro, original factory 69 camaro or 70 Chevelle....Back to the corvette....It, s matching #'s engine, transmission, and rear end that's documented with the Tank Stick. The interior is all original, as well as a large portion of the paint. Just completed a service on the car and it really runs and drives great! Options include factory a/c (not currently functioning), p/b, p/s, am/fm radio and tilt/tele steering wheel. Not many of these 400 a-c Coupes were built. The car had a repair on the lower passenger side rear quarter, the paint was spotted in there and up onto the rear deck, this was done many years ago. The rest of the car is original un hit body panels. Overall the paint has a very nice shine, and very nice for it,s age, of course there are a few imperfections such as chips and scratches as you would expect from paint this old. All imperfections are detailed in the photos, the car looks great I personal would not paint the car. Interior is original as stated earlier, the driver seat has a tear in the seat bottom and back. The original carpet is nice but wore through over the high beam headlight button. The remainder of the interior is very nice and shows wear that you would expect from a 46 year old car. The 60,800 miles are correct, and documentation on current title. Under the hood is also original, the only component not original is the water pump, probably a hose or two and maybe some clamps. The bottom of the car is unrestored also, the front exhaust pipes are original GM pipes with correct GM part numbers, mid. pipes and mufflers are correct replacement, Original spare is present. The car has been very well maintained and runs and drives great. This is a very neat original complete piece, If you appreciate original cars, you will not be dissapointed. It is a documented car that when you look at it you know exactly what it is. The car is being sold on an open clear California title. 217-415-3782

The last guy kept the car from 1979-2015 & just became too old to get in & out. It hasn't been licensed or driven since 2010 so it has been sitting for a while. I only added a new battery to get it going and it starts, runs, drives and shifts just like it should. The car was completely disassembled in the late 90s and received a complete body off restoration, which was completed around 2001. There have been approximately 2,000 miles added since being restored. The engine did not need bored so it only received new rings, bearings and valve job. The transmission was also rebuilt along with just about every part on the car. All new gas line, brake lines, brakes, brake calipers, rotors, u-joints, hoses, vaccuum headlight actuators, power steering control valve, master cylinder, ball joints... You get the idea. it is all new or rebuilt. Interior is all new with a super nice dash and gauges. Even the clock is still working. The chassis is as clean as the rest of the car. The brake calipers still look new and haven't rusted. All the original Air conditioning components are included except the rubber hoses. All brackets are repainted and ready to install. The compressor will need a new bearing. There are also boxes of new and used parts along with a huge stack of books and manual that go with the car. I'll add photos soon. You can see the car still looks amazing but there are a few imperfections that i did my best to highlight in the images and will make notes below. The tires have nearly full tread but are getting dried out. The exhaust is about the only thing that doesn't look like oem. There was no cat converter added. The original black shifter knob is included with the extras There is a slight exhaust leak at the driver manifold donut gasket. I'll work on a video and add that so you can hear it run. You are welcome to come take a test drive and view the car in person. You can pick it up in Springfield IL or use Uship or a similar logistics companies to arrange shipping. I used Car Show Services out of Michigan recently and that worked out great for me. Call anytime with questions 217.827.1173. A tree saw was knocked off the garage wall and hit the front bumper. The front bumper could be repainted or touched up if desired. The saw also chipped the paint next to the headlight and put a light scratch there. There are also stress cracks in the bumper cover. Those are just cob webs below the front spoiler. The outer spoiler pieces are included, still new in the box and never mounted. For some reason they failed to remove the back window when restoring the car. The paint on the window seal needs cleaned up. There has been a repair made to the lower drivers side quarter panel behind the rear tire. New Hood Insulation and fasteners are included but not installed. The clear plastic housing around the high fan fuse fell down on the exhaust manifold and deformed the plastic. The high fan fuse still works and has been moved away from the manifold. There is a crack on top of the center console as shown below Stress cracks in rear bumper shown below Paint checking around driver door lock.
