The power-train on mine is literally PERFECT. Let me make this very clear, My Z06 has NEVER been tracked, always babied its entire life. I took the car in for a recall at Reliable Chevrolet about a month ago, and I was informed that they heard some minor lifter noise and were going to fix it under warranty. If you have done your homework on LS7's you know that lifter noise is very common, and can happen to any vette, no matter how you drive it. After digging deeper into my engine, Reliable Chevrolet was alerted by corporate that they had a bad batch of camshaft bearings in some engines made during my production season. Because of this, they did the right thing and gave me a BRAND NEW ENGINE.This is very good news for you prospective buyers because a new engine comes with a full 5 year 100,000 mile warranty! So not only does my vette still have over 10 months left on its original powertrain warranty, but the engine is covered for many years to come. Also, while they had the old motor out of the car, I paid for a brand new clutch and flywheel to be put in as well. I still have the old clutch, it still has plenty of life on it, but I figured if I was getting a new engine, I might as well put in a new clutch with it so the new buyer can feel very confident from head to toe when purchasing my car. After the car is sold, I will have the break in oil changed performed as well, so the new owner will not have to put a penny into this car for a very long time. So whoever buys this car is getting a Z06 with a final revision engine and clutch with less than 800 miles on it, it also has almost a full year left of regular power-train warranty covering the entire car (expires August 2016), And it has a new warranty attached to the brand new motor This car really is in NEW condition, anyone who buys this car will be thrilled once they get their hands on it. Has full catback CORSA Exhaust as well as VARAM intake Everything else is 100% bone stock. This is a very nice strong original 40th Anniversary ruby red car that runs and drives with as it should. New tires less than 1000 miles, new correct top lens replaced to it's original frame, not replaced with a cheap ill fitting Ecklers replacement. The dash still retains its original factory equipment and has not been butchered up with a goofy aftermarket sound system. New battery, alternator, MSD Optispark. The exterior is very nice and could probably get a few more year out of it's original paint with a careful professional polish, but leaving it alone will serve you well as it it very nice as it is and attracts it's fair share of thumbs ups, and attention.There is an area in the front bumper where the bumper flexed at some point and there are some flex cracks in the paint in a spot, I tried to take a picture of it from different angles but it doesn't show up, and thanks to a lazy and unaware Pep-Boys mechanic there is a small piece of the door side trim that had gotten chipped.The car has been in my driveway for about three weeks driven only a few times here and there and have not seen any leaks, it doesn't smoke or make noises. It starts and drives perfectly with no vibrations and with very tight steering and suspension.Cold AC, working Cruise Control, very very strong responsive care, it's very impressive. The interior has very little wear & tare on the drivers seat and pass. window and seat are interm. but otherwise it is in great condition with new correct door panels installed by the previous owner.I'm selling this for my son and have tried my best to describe it as well as possible, if there are any questions please ask them before bidding.
