1966 Corvette Convertible. This car can be driven as is or you can restore it as you're driving it. According to the trim tag, it was an original maroon exterior and black interior car. I believe it was an original big block car as it has the high rpm tach, 80 lb oil gauge, big block radiator and caps on the rear axle stubs. It currently has a non original 350 engine which runs great and the 4 speed transmission is non #s matching. The car was repainted in the 90s and is showing some checking/wear. It's "ten footer" condition. The bumpers are in good shape. The interior is in decent shape but could use a new carpet and dashpads. This car comes with a removable hardtop only. The car does not have a folding soft top or the frame for a folding soft top. The previous owner had new trailing arms put in and the car drives very nice. Under The hood there a 383 sbc dart little m block dart heads, roller cam, Eagle rotating assembly, custom turbo piping, custom exhaust piping, gale banks turbo manifold, stealth intake manifold, 1000cfm throttle body, 70lbs injectors, twin 60-1 Turbonetics turbos with intercooler, March serpentine belt system, 2800 stall converter, built up 700r4 transmission 373 gear dana 44 rear, alcohol injection, MSD, Aluminum Radiator the list goes on and on and on This drive train would cost you over $30,000! The exterior is also custom over $15,000 was invested years ago to make it the car you see today, the scoops on the turbo hood are fuctional as well as the lovers in-between the headlights which force cold air into the intercooler. The interior is mostly original and simply stunning and being the car has only 39k original miles and never driven in the elements the interior looks almost new showing almost no wear! All the factory gauges (even the clock) in the car work like they should even with all the modifications! 1 Of A Kind! Total custom 1968 Corvette Stingray just taken out of storage! This car is very unique and would cost you well over $40,000 to build today! This vette is the best of both worlds with its motion gt body and a late model fuel injected corvette engine and over drive transmission. The car was built in the late 80s and no expense was spared used sparingly for a few years going to car shows and then put into indoor storage. The body is gorgeous the narrow nose to the flared rear just makes the car! The exterior body work is stunning and even though is was done many years ago you can tell it was done right (not one bubble in the paint!). The yellow with the metal flake black stripe is stunning just some normal wear and tear but over all its very nice! The black interior is also custom and beautiful it looks almost new and even has a original corvette am/fm CB radio with mic! The polish american racing wheels and tires look new and are where custom made to fit the car perfectly (the rears are nice and wide and fit in the wheel well perfectly). Under the hood again the car is totally custom but instead of there being an unreliable carberated engine this car has a Tune Port Induction Engine and overdrive transmission from a late model corvette mated to hooker side exhausts with custom made heat shields (not super loud) so you get plenty of power, reliability and great gas milage (not that you care in a car like this). Just turn the key and she starts right up ever time! The car also has all its custom gauges in the cowl of the custom hood. The frame is solid.
