This car is a 1980 Corvette manufactured for the state of California only. For increased fuel economy it has a stock 305ci engine but this is the very first engine that Chevrolet installed with computer controls. As a result it rated at only ten HP less than the 350ci engine.The car was completely sanded and repainted gloss black in 2005 and has been garage stored and only driven on sunny summer days since. I am offering for sale our 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. Electron Blue Metallic. Black interior. Automatic. We bought a 2013 Grand Sport Corvette Convertible and my wife won’t let me keep both! ONE OWNER VEHICLE. Meticulously maintained. Mileage: 121,038 (mostly highway miles). In April of 2003 we bought this for my wife. She has used it as a “daily driver” back and forth to work 8 months a year. Always stored Thanksgiving thru early April. No accidents, but the car was "Keyed" 4 months after we bought it. The dealer did the repairs. The tires have 15,000 miles on them. The typically last 30K to 35K miles based on our experience. The Alternator (referred to as a Generator on this car) and the battery were just replaced. Complete brake job and rotors done at 102K Miles. This spring it had about $2000 worth of work done to get it in perfect running order. We noticed it was leaking oil in the front under the engine and something was leaking in back. Both oil pan gaskets and the main seal on the engine were replaced which fixed the oil leak. The leak in back was from the transmission pan gasket. It was replaced. All oil changes are done with Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil. Every oil change (except for two) during its 11 years were performed by a Chevrolet dealer. As you might expect on an 11 year old vehicle, it does have some minor cosmetic issues. Here is the list: · There is a small tear in the leather driver’s seat. It is in the seam (see pictures) · There is a small area where the paint has “bubbled up”. This location is beneath one of the round tail lights (passenger side). This area was repainted when the car was “keyed” and we are assuming this is the cause. (see picture) · As you might expect for a vehicle with 121K miles, it has a lot of small stone chips on the front. I have a “Dr. Color Chip” kit that I was planning on touching it up with. The system works great (I have used the Dr. Color Chip on other vehicles and it works great). · There is a faint white strip of paint on the front drivers corner (see picture). Looks like someone probably swiped the car in a parking lot. · The center glove box has a small amount of cracking on it. It is right where a driver would lay their elbow while driving.
