This Z06 needs nothing! The car has countless high end modifications (Use corresponding Dropbox link below to view). No expense was spared! For those of you who are aware of the known 2006 / 2007 Z06 lifter bearing issue, rest assured this potential problem was alleviated before it become an issue. This was done by replacing the necessary valve train components with stronger, better and more efficient components. Since the engine was out we thought, "Why not strengthen it?!" We did exactly that (Use corresponding Dropbox link below). The cam was swapped during the build process to support a supercharged application. Again, no expense was spared. The car makes awesome power as it sits but should you need more, it's ready to handle it! See the current dyno chart (Use corresponding Dropbox link below). The motor was professionally built by Total Engine Concepts. All this company does is build motors and they specialize in LS motors. Their website is http://www.totalengineconcepts.com/. The removal and installation of the motor was handled by Performance Tech Motorsports. Performance Tech is also the company that has maintained the car from mileage 12,015 through current. Naturally aspirated with all the modifications without a super charger, though that can always be added. The modifications are exhaust, cam, throttle body, headers, intake manifold, cold air intake & shifter. The A/C compressor & condenser along with the regulator in the dash have been recently replaced. The ABS sensor has also been rebuilt. The engine was replaced with another Z06 motor that had around 62k miles on it when I purchased the car. Since my ownership I drive mainly to car shows and weekends. The car is always garaged kept and does not drive in the rain. Many extras include wheels, custom paint, upgraded stereo w/DVD player and engine compartment accessories. Very clean interior with some slight wear on the edge of the driver's seat. Front nose has common minor nicks or rash. Always kept washed and waxed and still has brilliant colors especially the blue. The previous owner had the other upgrades noted in the photos. The car dyno's at 532 at the crank, and 462 at the rear wheel. Remember, this is one of lightest platforms coming in at 3150 lbs, so don't be fooled by other higher horse powered competition. This car is intimidating and screams when it moves. I bought this Covette about 3 years ago with the intention of reselling it. However, it was such a nice low mileage car that I decided to keep it. I paid about $12K when I bought it from the original owner. When I started it was nothing more than a very nice C4. Over the past 3 years, I have invested about $56K in building a beast. The car is virtually new from the radiator to the rear end. The engine just went through a complete rebuild, bored to 383 cubic inches, domed pistons, Pro II Supercharger, headers, shocks, tires, brakes, 8 quart oil pan, buckets seats redone in Italian Leather...just too much to list.
