1972 Corvette survivor. 36,500 mile original drivetrain*, 4 speed. Drivetrain is original matching numbers throughout. The engine has been upgraded with *Aluminum heads and an L79 cam. Original heads and cam is included with the sale.Carburetor, distributor, alternator, starter, all components are original to the car. The distributor has been upgraded with a Pertronix unit.The 4 speed is original close ratio Muncie unit with the numbers on the side. Chassis is super clean and original with new brakes, new exhaust system, new shocks, new battery, new steering control valve, new hoses, new BFG 245/60/15 tires. The spare tire tub retains the original spare which has never been put down. The original jack is stored and never used. Interior is original throughout. All the instrumentation is fully functional including the clock. The A/C is fully functional and cold. The vacuum system for the wipers and headlights workswithout any issues. The foam liner that creates the rib effect on the seats is dried out and the side of the console has a small split. The carpet is original and in great condition. The body has never been in an accident. The original paint is checked however it is very presentable as a survivor. The big block hood was added and painted when the car was new, so the paint matches perfectly. The original hood is included with the sale. All of the glass and chrome trim is in excellent condition. The T-tops are in excellent shape with the factory storage bags included. There is a small crack on the front valence. Documentation includes the Protector-O-Plate, original owner's manual, Chevrolet Motor Division - New Vehicle Inspection Procedure check list (customer copy), Emission Control Systems maintenance and warranty information booklet. Original owner's storage pouches. Original keys (2) sets. Beautiful, unrestored, low mileage original documented base Corvette that needs nothing. Inspections are welcome and encouraged.
