1953 - 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1953 Commemorative Edition Corvette By Advanced Automotive Technologies Anniversary Burgundy / Tan Leather 5.7L Aluminum V8 This Chevrolet Corvette was built to commemorate the 1953 Corvette by Advanced Automotive Technologies in Rochester Hills, Michigan. AAT specializes in replicating previous versions of sports cars around a modern sports cars chassis including drivetrain as well as all the modern power and conveniences such as cold AC and comfortable drivability/performance. AAT has been designing and engineering replicas for over 40 years using full-size clay prototypes that employ fiberglass, carbon fiber, and composites. When completed each car is given a unique serial number to authenticate the new build, this one is number 209 of only 212 built. Using the 5th generation Corvette as a starting point, this vehicle has all the performance of one of the best American sports car ever made. Once delivered to AAT, the build included an overhaul of most of the body panels. Starting on the exterior, custom engineered and molded hood assembly, front fascia and fenders, rear fascia and fenders, headlights and turn signals, side marker lights, chrome grille and bumpers, LED taillights, chrome door and fender trim, high intensity backup lights, and red brake calipers were added. Powered by the original and reliable 5.7L V8 that makes 350hp and 360 ft/lbs torque and a 4-speed automatic transmission with electronic controlled gear selection. Stopping all of the horsepower are 4-wheel disc brakes with red painted calipers. Magnetic selective ride control, memory package, and heads-up display are included with this 50th Anniversary Edition.
