Up for sale is my 2005 Colorado Extreme Crew Cab. My father and I started the build in 2010 and have approx 250 hours in the build. I purchased the truck from the original owner with 105K miles on it. We pulled out the stock 5 cylinder, and then put in a LS1 from a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am. Below is a list of all the parts used in the conversion. I have well over 25K invested in the truck and a ton of time. I don't have to sell the truck, I'm just trying to make some room for the next project. The truck drives great! I just don't drive it a lot. I've only put about 3.5K miles on it since the build. I wouldn't buy this truck unless you know what you're doing mechanically. Part of the fun of driving engine swap cars/trucks is wrenching on them when you have to and doing all your own maintenance! ;-) I've never dyno'd the truck, but my guess would be that it's around 350-375HP at the crank. I wanted it to be a fun daily driver. Speedo calibrated accordingly. Aftermarket heated mirrors with blinkers in mirrors and outside indicators. Negatives/quirks of the build. Using the stock fuel level sender in the tank, it had the reverse gas gauge issue. I modded the gauge, so it looks proper. Although if you run it under 1/4 tank, you'll run it out of gas. Oil pressure sending unit - reads erratic on the gauge sometimes. I replaced the sending unit, but it still does it. It may be the gauge.
