1979 CHEVY MALIBUTHIS WAS A CUSTOM BUILD FROM 2009. IT WAS A HIGH DOLLAR BUILD THAT WAS BUILT TO HAUL A$$.A BRAND NEW GM PERFORMANCE RAM JET EFI 350 WAS INSTALLED. CAR HAS A RARE FACTORY 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH POSI REAREND. THE CAR HAS HEADERS AND DUAL EXHAUST WITH FLOW MASTERS. POWER STEERING, POWER DISC BRAKES, AND A/C.I WAS TOLD MILES ARE ACTUAL, AND LOOKING AT THE INTERIOR, PEDALS AND CARPET, I WOULD SAY THAT IS CORRECT (I HOWEVER HAVE NO WAY TO PROVE THAT).THE CAR IS FAST, BRAKES ARE GOOD (E- BRAKE NOT WORKING), DRIVES SOLID, STEERING IS TIGHT AND HAS LIKE NEW WELD WHEELS AND TIRES.I TOOK THIS CAR IN TRADE. IT WAS ORIGINALLY FROM SOUTH DAKOTA AND HAS SOME RUST. LOOK AT PICTURES! FRAME HAS SOME SURFACE RUST, BUT IS SOLID UNTIL YOU GET TO THE AREA BEHIND THE REAR WHEELS. TRUNK IS GOOD AND FLOORS ARE SOLID WITH SOME SURFACE RUST ONLY. OUTER ROCKERS HAVE RUST AND LOWER FRONT OF REAR QUARTERS (LOOK AT PICTURES). R. REAR QUARTER HAS RUST BEHIND REAR WHEEL. I'd like to complete this Chevelle restoration project and keep it but other priorities dictate that I shut it down. It may be a long time before I can continue, so I decided I'd rather sell it, probably at a loss, than just let it set. The body is back on the frame after replacing the floor pans, the trunk pan, and the rear lower quarters. The underneath of the car and frame were stripped and painted. A 12 bolt rear end, new body bushings, new fuel line, new brake line, new a-arm bushings, ball joints, torsion bar, and disc brake rotors were installed while the body was off the frame. The front fenders, outer & inner, have been repaired and are ready for placement back on the car. The restoration is at a point where the paint color needs to be chosen so the door jambs, underneath of the trunk & hood, etc. can be painted. Final block sanding also needs to be completed. I'm currently working on stripping and priming the SS hood that comes with the car. The 402 big block engine and TH400 have been freshened up and are back in the car. All the glass is with the car including a new windshield. It comes with a set of bucket seats and rear seats. It comes with a nice set of American Racing Torque Thrust 20 inch staggered wheels. Two of the tires are new. NOTE: 1. The hard work on this restoration has already been completed.2. I was told that the engine and transmission were in good condition but I can not verify or guarantee them since I have not completed the mechanical work.3. This car has come a long way but still has a long way to go before completion. Major items that will have to be funded include: A. Paint B. Wiring harness C. Exhaust system D. Carburetor, starter, & distributor for the engine E. Complete interior F. Bumpers G. Brake work completed H.
