For sale is this mechanically restored 1968 Chevelle SS big block. All original block, tranny and 12 bolt rear end housing. A true 138 VIN SS396 with all numbers matching parts (as far as I know as second owner.) Includes: · Power steering · Power front disc brakes with 4 piston Corvette calipers · Factory air conditioning has been removed · Factory center console with a B & M ratchet shifter installed in console · Needs body work including some rust abatement. Two extra front fenders included in this sale. · Front and rear bumpers need rechroming · 15” Custom wheels with B.F. Goodrich TA Radials · Second owner. Car was built in Van Nuys and sold to a family in the Valley. I bought it 24 years ago. Car has never seen salted roads or other rotten weather conditions. Barely even seen rain. · Missing speakers behind the rear seats. · Has dings and dents that need worked out during the painting process. No major rust except behind the front wheels. The two extra front fenders that come with the car will take care of that issue as well as the dented front right corner. · Extra rear valance with trunk lid hinges also included in this sale.
