Finished in a brilliant silver paint perfectly accented with the black racing stripes for the classic late 60\'s muscle car look. Options for this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle include: Air Conditioning, AM Radio (disconnected), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Eagle Alloy Aluminum/Alloy Racing Wheels, Radial Tires, and Seat Belts. Believed to be an original SS car, this Chevelle now features a 454 CID V8 with an Edelbrock intake sitting atop the big block. The rebuilt original Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a horseshoe console shifter was kept in place to transfer the power to the brand new 12 bolt Moser Posi-Trac rear end with 3.08 gears and a polished rear differential cover. The Moser rear end has only 50 miles on it and provides a sure grip when you feel like testing the limits of the Big Block. Headers flow from the massive 454 CID V8 and connect to the 2.5\" exhaust and sound amazing. 1972 was the last year the Cowl Induction was offered with the 454 and was not mentioned in the brochure as an option. The Cowl Induction on this 72\' Chevelle does function and certainly adds a level of cool to this classic big block muscle car. The 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle was the second best-selling car in America, and is considered the last popular year for collectors. This Chevelle sits on 15\" Eagle Alloy aluminum/alloy wheels, which match the silver paint and chrome trim perfectly and look terrific. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic, first generation 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. 1964 was the 1st production year for the Chevelle, which ended its production run in 1977, and was one of Chevrolet\'s most popular models. The Chevelle SS was Chevrolet\'s entry into the muscle car wars. Born in Kansas City, Kansas at the Chevrolet Chevelle assembly plant, this Super Coupe (2-door hardtop) Chevelle features a 327 CID V8 and a 350 Turbo transmission. A 3:42 Posi-Traction 12 bolt rear end helps transfer the power to the rear wheels. Options on this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle include: AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. Finished in a new coat of Light Rich Metallic Blue paint in August of 2014 that coincides beautifully with the black vinyl interior which features bucket seats and a console floor shifter. The new AM/FM radio puts out 240 watts that power the dual rear speakers. In 2013 the 327 CID V8 was rebuilt with aluminum heads, 292 competition cam, Edlebrock Torker intake manifold, Holley 600 CFM carburetor, and wrapped Hooker Headers. An MSD solid state ignition system has also been added for enhanced performance. Power steering and front power disc brakes make this 64\' Chevelle a breeze to drive.
